We're hiring a motivated internally facing Business Analyst to learn how CompassX actually runs — across Consulting Operations, Sales, Talent, and more — by getting hands-on with the work itself, then using that ground-level view to identify what's inefficient, recommend a better way, and build it.
This isn't a role where you sit outside the work and hand off recommendations to someone else. You'll learn our processes from the inside, spot where they break down, bring forward a clear fix, and then help make it real. As a small firm, you'll get exposure across nearly every function — no task is too small or too big. It's a high-visibility role with direct exposure to firm leadership from day one.
Support sales outreach and marketing campaigns, including list building, campaign coordination, high-volume outreach, follow-up tracking, and CRM maintenance.
Get hands-on across teams to understand how work moves, where processes break down, and what needs to improve.
Diagnose root causes and bring forward clear, practical recommendations, not just temporary fixes.
Build, implement, and own processes from start to finish, including documentation, execution, and ongoing improvement.
Use CRM, spreadsheets, and lightweight automation/AI tools, such as Zapier, Make, Claude, Gemini, and Google Apps Script, to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
Take ownership of recurring operational and administrative tasks, completing repetitive work accurately while looking for opportunities to streamline it.
Partner with leadership and team leads to clarify priorities, communicate progress, and turn ideas into working improvements.
Document key workflows so processes and institutional knowledge don’t live only in one person’s head.
2–6+ years of experience in sales operations, sales enablement, business operations, business analysis, marketing operations, or a similar hands-on role.
Experience supporting sales outreach, ideally through campaigns or high-volume prospecting, with strong attention to targeting, organization, and follow-through.
Marketing experience, such as campaign execution, audience research, contact list management, content coordination, or performance tracking.
A track record of building and owning a process, not just recommending changes, but implementing them and staying accountable for how they work.
Technical aptitude and comfort using or quickly learning CRM systems, spreadsheets, and lightweight automation/AI tools.
A consulting mindset: you ask thoughtful questions, diagnose root causes, organize ambiguous information, and recommend practical solutions.
Grit and follow-through. You’re willing to perform repetitive, detail-heavy work reliably, even as you look for ways to make it better.
Excellent written and verbal communication, with the polish to represent CompassX professionally and work confidently with leadership and colleagues.
Strong organization, attention to detail, and the initiative to move work forward independently.
Comfort with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and learning new tools or approaches.
No ego about the work. You bring the same care to basic administrative tasks as you do to high-visibility improvements.
A front-row seat to how a consulting firm builds its sales and operations processes from the ground up. You'll help shape them, not just execute someone else's playbook.
Direct, regular access to firm leadership and real ownership over a function they depend on.
Exposure across Sales, Consulting Operations, Talent, and more, with opportunities to learn how the business works.
The opportunity to turn your ideas into practical improvements and see the impact of your work.
