Help financial institutions transform transfer agency across Europe
The European investment-management market continues to evolve as firms seek to modernise complex operating environments, improve investor servicing, strengthen operational control and scale their businesses more efficiently.
At FIS, we help financial institutions modernise the technology supporting their investment operations. We’re looking for a Sales Executive Lead to drive growth for our Transfer Agency Solutions across Europe, helping asset managers, fund administrators, transfer agents, financial institutions and other investment-services organisations transform their transfer agency capabilities.
This is a senior, quota-carrying role for an accomplished enterprise seller who thrives in complex, consultative sales environments. You’ll combine knowledge of transfer agency, asset servicing or investment operations with the ability to build trusted executive relationships and convert strategic client challenges into compelling technology propositions.
The impact you’ll have
As a Sales Executive Lead, you’ll identify strategic opportunities, develop senior client relationships and close complex deals that deliver measurable outcomes for transfer agency and investor-servicing organisations across Europe.
You’ll:
- Win new clients and expand strategic accounts across the European transfer agency and investment-services market.
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial engagement through contract signature.
- Position FIS as a strategic transformation partner rather than solely a technology provider.
- Help clients modernise transfer agency, investor servicing and associated operational capabilities.
- Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers, business leaders and executive stakeholders.
- Develop opportunities across asset managers, fund administrators, transfer agents, financial institutions and other investment-services organisations.
- Drive sustainable revenue growth through disciplined territory planning, new-logo acquisition and strategic account expansion.
- Influence how clients approach technology modernisation, process automation, operational resilience and service improvement.
Your success will be measured through revenue growth, bookings performance, pipeline generation, strategic account development and long-term customer value creation.
What you’ll be selling
You’ll represent FIS’s Transfer Agency Solutions, helping organisations transform critical activities across the transfer agency and investor-servicing lifecycle, including:
- Investor and account servicing.
- Investor onboarding and account maintenance.
- Transaction and dealing-related processing.
- Recordkeeping and register administration.
- Cash, payment and distribution-related workflows.
- Operational automation and exception management.
- Data, reporting and analytics capabilities.
- Client, intermediary and investor communications.
- Technology-modernisation and transformation programmes.
This is consultative, value-based selling focused on helping clients achieve measurable outcomes such as greater operational efficiency, stronger control, improved scalability, reduced manual processing and a more effective investor-servicing experience.
How you’ll do it
- Own and grow a high-value sales pipeline across Europe, delivering against quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Develop and execute a European territory strategy aligned to client priorities and developments in the transfer agency and investment-services market.
- Identify target organisations, buying centres and strategic opportunities across new and existing accounts.
- Engage stakeholders across transfer agency, operations, technology, investor services, distribution, risk, finance, procurement and the C-suite.
- Build compelling business cases that demonstrate commercial value, operational improvement and return on investment.
- Lead complex commercial negotiations with senior client stakeholders.
- Manage long-cycle sales engagements involving multiple decision-makers, business units and jurisdictions.
- Collaborate closely with pre-sales, product management, delivery, marketing and account-management teams to develop strong client solutions.
- Represent FIS at industry events, executive forums, conferences and customer engagements across Europe.
- Provide market insight and client feedback to support product strategy, roadmap discussions and go-to-market planning.
- Develop account and territory plans that balance new-logo acquisition with strategic expansion opportunities.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, opportunity qualification and pipeline-management disciplines.
What we’re looking for
- Proven enterprise software or technology sales experience within transfer agency, asset servicing, investment management, fintech or financial-services technology.
- Strong understanding of transfer agency, fund administration, investor servicing or closely related investment operations.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering against sales targets in complex enterprise environments.
- Experience selling software, SaaS, platform or transformational technology solutions.
- Ability to engage, influence and build credibility with executive-level and senior business stakeholders.
- Experience managing long-cycle, consultative sales engagements involving multiple decision-makers and buying centres.
- Ability to construct and communicate value-led business cases for technology investment.
- Strong knowledge of the European investment-management or financial-services landscape.
- Professional fluency in English.
- Ability to travel across Europe in line with client and business requirements.
Preferred experience
- Established relationships with asset managers, fund administrators, transfer agents, investment platforms or other investment-services organisations in Europe.
- Experience selling transfer agency, fund administration, investor servicing or related technology.
- Understanding of the transfer agency operating lifecycle and its associated business and technology challenges.
- Experience selling into large financial institutions and enterprise organisations.
- Exposure to technology-modernisation, platform-transformation or operational-automation programmes.
- Experience leading strategic opportunities spanning multiple countries, business units or stakeholder groups.
- Knowledge of regulatory and market developments affecting European transfer agency and investor servicing.
- Additional European language capability.
Why join FIS?
- Be part of a global financial technology organisation supporting transformation across financial services.
- Help organisations modernise business-critical transfer agency and investor-servicing operations.
- Work on complex, strategic opportunities with leading European market participants.
- Collaborate with product, pre-sales, delivery and commercial specialists across an international organisation.
- Gain exposure to senior client leaders and significant technology-transformation programmes.
- Build your career within a global sales organisation.
- Play an important role in accelerating the growth of FIS Transfer Agency Solutions across Europe.
- Receive competitive compensation, sales incentives and comprehensive benefits aligned to the employing location.
