About Digs

Digs is building the future of collaboration between builders and homeowners. Our platform uses artificial intelligence to organize, surface, and share the information that matters most during a home build, making the entire experience more transparent, connected, and intuitive.

We’re growing quickly and looking for a Sales Intern who is excited to learn SaaS sales, connect with customers, and play a hands-on role in growing our sales pipeline. We’re a small, high-ownership team where curiosity, customer focus, speed, and a willingness to learn matter.

Want to know what drives us? Explore our Digs Principles.

What you’ll do

You’ll get hands-on experience across inbound and outbound sales development, learning how a growing SaaS company identifies prospects, creates meaningful conversations, qualifies leads, and builds pipeline. You’ll also develop foundational sales skills and gain exposure to how opportunities move through the sales process.

• Inbound (50%): Respond to inbound leads, website inquiries, and other marketing-generated interest. Help qualify prospects, understand their needs, and connect strong opportunities with the sales team.
• Outbound (50%): Research and identify prospective builder and homebuilding accounts and reach out through phone, personalized email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Start conversations: Connect with prospective customers, learn about their businesses, and introduce them to Digs.
• Qualify opportunities: Ask thoughtful questions to understand a prospect’s needs and determine whether Digs could be a good fit. Stay curious and customer-driven, not just box-checking.
• Create pipeline: Help generate qualified meetings and opportunities for the sales team.
• Manage follow-up: Keep prospect information organized in our CRM and own your follow-ups so leads don’t fall through the cracks.
• Partner with Marketing & Sales: Learn how messaging, campaigns, prospecting, and sales work together to create new business. Be a low-ego teammate who communicates clearly and jumps in where needed.
• Learn and iterate: Test different outreach strategies, track what works, learn from what doesn’t, and help us continuously improve our sales approach.
• Build sales skills: Develop hands-on experience with prospect research, sales messaging, discovery questions, objection handling, and how leads move from initial conversation to qualified opportunity.
• Bring ideas: We’re growing our sales motion, and we want you to have a voice in how we connect with prospective customers and what we learn along the way.

Who you are

• Curious, motivated, and excited to learn.
• A strong communicator who is comfortable talking to new people.
• Organized, dependable, and willing to take ownership.
• Resilient and able to handle rejection without losing momentum.
• A team player with a low-ego, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.
• Interested in technology, startups, and how businesses grow.
• Customer-focused and genuinely interested in understanding people and their businesses.

Bonus if you have

• Previous sales, customer-facing, SDR, BDR, or business development experience.
• Experience working in a startup or fast-moving environment.
• Interest in SaaS, technology, construction, real estate, or homebuilding.
• Familiarity with CRM or sales engagement tools.
• Experience with cold calling, email outreach, or LinkedIn prospecting.
• A competitive spirit and a track record of setting and achieving goals.
