About the Sales Representative

As a Sales Representative, you will join one of our client programmes and help identify, engage, and build relationships with prospective customers across the EMEA region. You will learn how to research target accounts, communicate with business decision-makers, understand customer needs, and explain how technology solutions can support their business goals.

You will receive structured onboarding, product training, coaching, and ongoing support from experienced colleagues and leaders. This is an excellent opportunity to develop transferable skills in business development, customer engagement, technology sales, communication, and commercial decision-making.

No two client programmes are the same, so your responsibilities may be tailored to a particular technology solution, customer segment, industry and/or language.

What Will You Do?

• Research prospective customers, industries, and target markets to identify potential business opportunities.

• Connect with prospective customers through telephone, email, social selling, digital campaigns, and other approved communication channels.

• Ask thoughtful questions to understand customer challenges, priorities, and potential business needs.

• Introduce relevant technology products or services and clearly communicate their value.

• Qualify prospective customers and identify opportunities that may be suitable for further sales engagement.

• Schedule meetings or calls between prospective customers and the appropriate sales representatives.

• Support the development of a healthy and well-organised sales pipeline.

• Maintain timely and accurate records of customer engagement and opportunity progress in the relevant CRM system.

• Work towards agreed individual and team objectives, including activity, pipeline, customer engagement, and sales goals.

• Share customer feedback, market observations, and emerging trends with relevant internal stakeholders.

• Contribute positively to team meetings, coaching sessions, and ongoing learning activities.

• Represent MarketStar and its client professionally while delivering a positive customer experience.

What Will You Need to Succeed?

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

• Fluency in other European languages may be required for certain EMEA programmes.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are important.

• Familiarity with CRM, productivity, marketing, or sales engagement tools.

• An academic background in business, sales, marketing, communications, languages, or related discipline.

We recognise that talent and potential can be demonstrated in many ways. If you are enthusiastic about the opportunity but do not meet every preferred criterion, we still encourage you to apply.
