We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Sales Support Engineer to join our team in Istanbul. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the sales process, ensuring high-quality proposals, and delivering excellent customer experiences through close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities / Tasks
Support the preparation of quotations, commercial offers, and cost estimates
Assist with technical clarifications in coordination with Business Lines
Collaborate closely with sales support teams, factories, and internal stakeholders
Support Sales Managers and sales channels to meet customer and business requirements
Monitor order execution, with attention to costs, margins, and risks
Use CRM and sales tools to manage customer information, requests, and opportunities
Handle customer inquiries, including coordination with indirect sales channels
Contribute to pre-sales activities and offer management processes
Develop product knowledge and build expertise in the assigned product line
Your Profile / Qualifications
University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Environmental, Chemical, or similar)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar function
Strong technical background with hands-on experience in sales processes and tools (ordering, pricing, CRM systems)
Proficiency in MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus
Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to collaborate across functions, levels, and cultures
Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to engage effectively at different organizational levels
Good understanding of international business environments and customer expectations
Solution-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills
Resilient, proactive, and can-do attitude
Team player with strong networking and negotiation skills
