SAP Sr Project Management

Accountabilities:

• Support project setup and configuration using JIRA and SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) according to project requirements.
• Help establish and maintain project repository structures, documentation, and project governance materials.
• Apply SAP Activate methodology to project planning, execution, and delivery activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure tasks, milestones, and deliverables are effectively managed and completed.
• Support project managers in establishing projects internally, including coordination of processes, resources, responsibilities, and delivery expectations.
• Assist with project planning, tracking, reporting, and day-to-day coordination across multiple workstreams.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders across different functions, regions, and time zones to maintain alignment and project momentum.
• Support project budgeting activities and demonstrate an understanding of financial planning and project cost considerations.
• Help identify project dependencies, risks, and delivery issues and coordinate appropriate follow-up with relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain clear and effective communication across project teams through written updates, meetings, and status reporting.
• Adapt working schedules when necessary to collaborate effectively with teams operating across Southeast Asian and European time zones.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in project management processes, tools, and delivery practices.
• Remain flexible and available for short-term domestic and international business travel when required.

Requirements:

• 10–15 years of professional experience, with substantial experience in SAP project management.
• Demonstrated experience managing or supporting SAP projects, including at least one complete end-to-end SAP implementation.
• Strong understanding of SAP project delivery processes and practical knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.
• Experience using project management and delivery tools such as JIRA and SAP Cloud ALM (CALM).
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to use spreadsheets effectively for project tracking, reporting, and analysis.
• Previous project management experience, ideally within SAP consulting, implementation, or technology transformation environments.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing dependencies across multiple project workstreams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical, business, and project stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing requirements, and operate effectively in dynamic project environments.
• Experience working with global teams across multiple regions and time zones.
• Ability to understand and contribute to project budgeting and financial management activities.
• PMP, Agile, PRINCE2, or comparable project management certification is preferred.
• SAP Activate certification or strong practical knowledge of the methodology is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ownership, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours aligned with Southeast Asian or European time zones when required.
• Willingness to undertake short-term domestic and international business travel.
