Works with SVM and DoIT IT teams to develop and deliver scalable computer and storage systems supporting all facets of the UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine, including the school, research labs, and its operating teaching hospital.

Minimum starting salary is $95,000 annually. Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience.
Minimum of 1 year professional experience managing resources in a private or public cloud environment.
Knowledge of scripting/coding modern programming languages like Python, Go, Java, or Ruby
Professional experience designing, architecting,, or developing IT systems or services
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience with container and container orchestration solutions like Docker and Kubernetes
Experience in a healthcare environment (veterinary or human medicine)
Experience with Agile project management methodology and tools
Experience with regulatory or security regulations, controls, and benchmarks like HIPPA, NIST 800-53, and CIS
Associates Degree required.
