Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis is a leading global communications agency built to navigate the complexities of a hyper-connected world. We represent the icons and innovators shaping culture—from global heritage corporations and high-growth tech startups to the non-profits, creative legends, and visionary founders who define the global discourse.

Our expertise spans the full cultural spectrum. We operate at the intersection of entertainment, social impact, corporate reputation, and consumer lifestyle, executing seamlessly across traditional media, social-first outlets, brand partnerships, and influencer ecosystems. Whether we are navigating complex crisis management, elevating advocacy campaigns, or launching global consumer brands, we are storytellers at our core.

You may notice our digital presence is purposefully understated. While our clients are global household names, we believe the best work happens when the spotlight stays firmly on those we represent. We fly under the radar by design - preferring to let our campaigns, and our results, speak for themselves.

If you're driven, intentional, and ready to do good, we're ready for you!

Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis has an immediate opening for a strategic, high-energy Senior Account Director to join our growing Technology practice. This role is for a PR powerhouse with 8+ years of experience who is ready to lead a dynamic mix of high-profile tech brands, high-growth startups, and the VC firms fueling the future. We are looking for an entrepreneurial leader who thrives on the variety of the "generalist" mindset. Our tech roster spans everything from fintech and healthtech to AI, gaming, VR, and hardware. If you are passionate about building the next global household name and remain calm in the fast-paced world of tech innovation, this is your next challenge.

The Role:

Strategic Account Leadership: Lead a diverse roster of accounts with total autonomy, ensuring corporate reputation efforts, consumer campaigns, and executive thought leadership programs are executed flawlessly.

Integrated Narrative Development: Architect 360-degree strategies that bridge the gap between traditional media, social-first content, and digital creator ecosystems.

Proactive Client Counsel: Serve as a daily strategic partner for clients, providing unprompted fresh ideas and navigating stressful or complex situations with thoughtful, calm counsel.

Media Mastery: Leverage your extensive network of media contacts at outlets like TechCrunch, WIRED, Forbes, and CNBC to secure impactful placements that influence the bottom line. You are a strategist who still pitches and loves the win.

Content Excellence: Produce sharp, persuasive materials—from complex messaging frameworks and media pitches to awards submissions and executive briefing notes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with our internal experts in social media, brand integration, and design to deliver holistic campaigns that move at the speed of culture.

Mentorship & Team Coaching: Motivate and coach junior staff, providing the consistent feedback and guidance necessary to drive efficiency and develop the agency’s future leaders.

Growth & Business Development: Contribute to new business proposals and identify organic growth opportunities within your current account roster.

Who You Are:

The Tech Strategist: 10+ years of PR experience with a deep understanding of the VC landscape, emerging tech trends, and corporate communications.

The Nuanced Leader: You possess exceptional situational awareness and strong EQ. You have the executive presence to command a high-stakes meeting, but the humility and judgment to take a step back and empower your team or client to take the lead when necessary.

An Integrated Thinker: You stay on the pulse of social trends and are plugged into real-time conversation on platforms like X. You understand how influencers, digital strategy, and brand partnerships humanize technology and you’re quick to connect the dots between what’s trending and what it means for a client’s business.

A Skilled & Organized Project Manager: You excel at managing the backend of accounts—from results reporting and budget trackers to complex multi-project timelines—with meticulous detail.

The Player-Coach: You are as comfortable leading a senior-level brainstorm as you are rolling up your sleeves to staff a press event or finalize a media alert.

The High-Performer: You take pride in over-delivering and have an innate curiosity that drives you to explore new industries and creative concepts.
