Founded in 2017, Send was created with a clear ambition: to transform commercial insurance underwriting by combining deep industry expertise with modern technology. Today, Send’s award-winning underwriting workbench helps commercial insurers improve the way underwriting teams access information, make decisions, collaborate, and manage complex risks.
Following Send’s acquisition by Duck Creek Technologies, we are bringing together Send’s specialist commercial underwriting capabilities with Duck Creek’s scale, expertise, and modern SaaS platform. Together, we have an exciting opportunity to deliver even greater value to insurers and help shape the future of commercial insurance technology.
As part of Duck Creek Technologies, the Send team benefits from the scale, investment, expertise, and global reach of a market-leading insurance technology organization while continuing to build on the specialist underwriting expertise and entrepreneurial culture that have driven Send’s success.

Why This Role Matters
As our Senior Software Engineer in our Delivery and Support team, you will keep Send’s underwriting platform running well for our customers. You’ll predominantly own application and production support for live customer environments, working closely with the customer implementation projects at the point of handoff. This role sits alongside our core product engineering team rather than within it. You’ll work closely with Delivery, Product, Engineering and customer stakeholders to resolve issues quickly, configure and extend the platform for each customer’s needs, and feed what you learn back into the product. It suits a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving real problems that directly affect customers.
