A career in our Tax Reporting and Strategy practice, within Innovation services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients’ tax departments redesign, redefine, and redeploy tax to be a strategic asset across the enterprise. You’ll focus on assisting clients incorporate increased automation in the tax reporting process, increase analytic capabilities through data integration, and create solid internal controls that will enable the Tax function to deliver better quality output and contribute more strategically to organisational decision making.

Our team helps our clients expand the tax role to include research, analytics, and technologies to improve how their organisation collaborates and performs. You’ll focus on enhancing the tax reporting process by incorporating increased automation, integrating quality data, developing analytic capabilities, and utilising technology to deliver better quality output in less time.

We are seeking an Experienced IT Development Senior Associate to assist our dynamic development team in delivering high-quality software solutions. This role requires a balance of technical expertise (85%) and user/project handling capabilities (15%), ensuring the successful completion of projects and effective communication between technical teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Part of the software development team in designing, developing, and delivering scalable applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project specifications meet business needs.
• Contribute in project management processes, including planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.
• Foster a collaborative team environment
• Liaise between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, providing clear communication and managing expectations.
• Implement DevOps practices and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) to streamline development processes.
• Ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards for all developed solutions.
• Proven experience in software development using languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
• Familiarity with modern development frameworks and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Understanding of database management, including SQL and NoSQL.
• Experience in designing efficient technical architectures.

User/Project Handling Skills (15%):

• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management and presentation delivery.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and implement strategic solutions.
• Competence in budget and resource management, ensuring efficient use of company resources.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Bachelor degree from Computer Science, Information System, and related, with minimum GPA of 3.

• Minimum 3.5 - 5 years experience of Post Qualification/Graduation experience in IT project management and software development.

• Relevant certifications such as PMP, CSM, or ITIL are highly desirable.

• Collaborative and empathetic approach.

• Strong analytical thinking and adaptability.
