Streaming TV is no longer just a brand awareness channel. It’s becoming a core part of the performance marketing mix, alongside search and social. Vibe.co is building the platform that makes TV work like the rest of the acquisition stack: targeted, measurable, and optimized for results.
Vibe.co is an Audience First Streaming TV Advertising platform that gives marketers the tools to reach the right audiences, optimize campaigns in real time, and understand what’s actually driving business outcomes. With hyper-targeted segmentation, AI-powered recommendations, real-time optimization, and incrementality measurement, Vibe brings the precision and accountability of digital advertising to the biggest screen in the house.
Today, more than 12,000 brands use Vibe.co to reach 120 million+ households. And in August 2026, Vibe.co became a Walmart company, opening up a new chapter for the business and the industry. With Walmart’s first-party data and purchase signals now part of the Vibe platform, advertisers can connect TV advertising to real-world transactions and measure the impact of CTV with a level of precision previously associated with platforms like Google and Meta.
This is a unique moment to join Vibe. With Walmart’s scale, data, and reach behind us, we’re building the next generation of TV advertising and creating a more measurable, performance-driven future for the channel.
You'll join the Integrations team, the connective tissue of Vibe's platform, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager. The team owns all data flowing in and out of Vibe: measurement and attribution integrations, audience connections from CRMs and CDPs, and reporting pipelines. This role exists because we're building a first-class Developer Platform, opening Vibe's full capabilities as an API so external partners can build on top of us. Three reasons to want this: you'll be one of the most senior engineers shaping the New York engineering presence from day one, you'll own foundational architecture decisions on a platform that marquee partners like Clay are already building against, and you'll work in an environment where AI-augmented development is the expectation, not the experiment.
Build and Ship Integrations
Design and implement production-grade integrations with external platforms: CRMs, CDPs, measurement vendors, and data partners
Own integration projects end-to-end, from scoping through production, with full accountability for outcomes
Collaborate directly with external partners to define, validate, and evolve data contracts
Developer Platform
Drive the architecture of Vibe's public API: account, advertiser, and campaign management endpoints built to scale
Develop documentation, monitoring, and tooling that makes the developer experience genuinely first-class
Contribute to MCP gateway and authentication layers that expose Vibe's capabilities to the world
Reliability and Scale
Identify architectural weaknesses in existing pipelines and lead the effort to rebuild them for scale
Set the standard for code quality on the team. Your reviews move the bar, not just the diff
Use AI tooling actively to accelerate development and raise output quality across the team
Team Leadership
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code review, pairing, and direct feedback
Help establish engineering norms and practices as the New York team grows
Partner with the Engineering Manager on technical direction and hiring calibration
Typically 6+ years shipping production backend systems: APIs, data pipelines, and distributed services at scale
Deep hands-on proficiency in TypeScript; you've owned complex systems, not just contributed to them
Strong infrastructure fundamentals: AWS, Terraform, and the judgment to make architectural decisions, not just implement them
Exposure to low-level programming concepts. C or C++ background is a plus; you understand what's happening beneath the abstraction
A high-ownership background: startups, scale-ups, or any environment where you couldn't hand the hard problems to someone else
A track record of raising the quality of the engineers around you, not just your own output
Prior experience building or maintaining third-party integrations (ETL, webhooks, REST/GraphQL APIs)
Familiarity with GCP or multi-cloud environments
Experience designing or contributing to developer-facing platforms or public APIs
At Vibe, we run on three values: Impact, Ambition, and Urgency. We tie every goal to a real business outcome, think 10x rather than settling for good enough, and move daily rather than waiting for perfect conditions.
You'll thrive here if you own outcomes without needing direction, default to action, and hold yourself to results, not effort.
This is a high-performance environment with high-performance rewards: you'll work alongside people who push you, with real ownership over hard problems in a market that's moving fast.
If that sounds like the best version of your career, we want to meet you.
For candidates in New York, NY, the pay range for this role is $196,000–$265,000.
At Vibe, we want you to build something, own something, and grow fast. Here's how we back that up:
Variable pay based on objectives you hit. No arbitrary targets.
Hybrid flexibility. We're in NYC's Flatiron District and our team is in 3x a week.
Full health coverage. Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
401(k) with matching. We invest in your future, not just your output.
Unlimited PTO. Take the time you need. We measure results, not hours.
Parental leave. Paid leave for all parents.
Annual offsite. The whole team, once a year, somewhere worth the trip.
We respect your time. Here's exactly what to expect: no surprises, no ghosting.
Recruiter screen. 30 min. We'll share context; you'll share yours.

Product Interview. 30 mins with the Product Manager for this team. We want to hear about how you've worked cross-functionally in previous roles.
Technical assessment. 90 min. Code review exercise plus applied questions, including how you use AI in your workflow. Real problems, not tricks.
Bar raiser. 30 min with a senior leader to ensure we're holding a consistent, high bar.
Offer. Fast. We don't let good decisions sit.
