You will:

• Lead design of BMS PCBAs, through their full lifecycle - including circuit simulation, schematic capture, layout, routing, reviews, manufacturing, and revisions
• Work closely with mechanical and software teams, from the beginning of the design process, to ensure that our BMS hardware seamlessly integrates into the battery pack
• Design circuits for diagnostic coverage, redundancy, and fault-tolerance - working closely with systems and safety teams to ensure that our BMS hardware meets safety goals
• Own PCBA bring-up and verification, working hands-on with lab equipment to check that the design functions across all operating conditions and fault injection cases
• Support software development related to new circuits and revisions, updating and authoring interface documents as needed
• Coordinate builds with PM team, DFM team, supply chain team, and quality team
• Support production & manufacturing needs, including design-for-test, root-cause analysis of failures, component traceability, and build process development
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of the battery pack with other electrical systems on the aircraft
• Work with BMS integration, software, and controls engineers to facilitate hardware fault injection tests on HILs and packs

What You Need:
