The Senior Brand Manager is a critical member of the Jack Daniel’s Brand team and a highly motivated and skilled marketer looking to shape the future of the most iconic spirit brand in the world.

Meaningful Work From Day One

The role reports to the Marketing Manager Jack Daniel’s France & Belux and is responsible for driving profitable growth by building the strategic plans of Jack Daniel’s core business (Tennessee Whiskey and Flavors) and ensuring a best-in-class execution consistent across the family of brands by collaborating closely with the Marketing Manager and key France, regional & global stakeholders.

This is a role which requires a strong ability to build relationships, to champion the brand strategy across the organization, and to collaborate effectively with regional and global teams.

The working style for this role is 4 days a week in the office with Fridays working from home. The length of this contract is 9 months, with a planned start date of early December.

What You Can Expect

Consumer obsessed

• Analyze regularly competitive environment and emerging trends on markets to identify gaps and new business opportunities, propose action plans and corrective actions in collaboration with Brand and Business Insights team
• Develop annual brand plans and bring them to life delivering best-in-class communications strategies, new product launches and activation plans anchored in consumer truth.
• Recommend innovative projects for the brand in line with the mid-term company’s strategy and target consumers’ needs

Business Savvy & Value creation

• Define marketing strategies & KPIs to achieve growth goals and monitor regularly the brand performances (sales, advertising, brand health…) against defined KPIs
• Guardian the brand P&L – optimizing strategy, investment, pricing and promotion closely with the France cross functional team.
• Manage and track the A&P budget for the brand including regular meetings with finance and budget owners.

Strategic Relationships and Partnerships

• Lead and champion the brand, supporting the Marketing Manager to shape the direction and growth of the brand
• Coordinate key transverse projects for the family of brands (media, research…)
• Develop strong working relationships internally (especially Sales, Advocacy, Trade Marketing) and externally (creative, media and activation agencies) to complete projects.
• Inform & influence the Leadership Team.
• Represent France during international meetings
• Support the coaching of the Junior Brand Managers and the wider marketing team
• Act as a role model of B-F values

What You Bring to the Table:

• Experience in operational marketing or product marketing in FMCG, ideally in alcoholic beverages.
• Great analytical skills (Panel Nielsen/Circana, brand health monitoring…), commercially savvy and solution focused to solving problems
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact at local, regional and global levels
• Collaborative, likes to work in matrix mode, persuasive and capacity to influence projects he/she does not lead
• Self-starter with a growth mindset, curious with an ability to challenge status quo
• Fluent French and English are required
