JOB PURPOSE
This role is part of our Experience & Engineering team in Germany. We combine technology and experience design to create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products, and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is digital experiences and communication that change perceptions and shape new behaviours to make a difference in the market.
Step into a pivotal role where you will shape initiatives spanning multiple ancillary products and cross-functional teams. You will act as the analytical lead for overarching projects, coordinating cross-product analysis and aligning diverse stakeholders every step of the way. By building a deep understanding of business, customer, and operational processes, you will translate complex needs into solutions that are valuable, scalable, and ready for agile delivery. If you are passionate about connecting the dots between business strategy and technical execution to drive digital innovation, this is your chance to make a massive impact.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Analyze and shape cross-product initiatives, business requirements, and new opportunities that impact ancillary products and digital customer journeys.
Translate business needs into clear product scopes, functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios.
Leverage data, customer insights, and business input to identify opportunities, support prioritization, and validate proposed solutions.
Elicit, analyze, and structure stakeholder needs, ensuring business and operational processes are accurately reflected and accommodated in the solution design.
Support solution validation and testing to guarantee delivered products meet defined requirements, technical feasibility, and strategic objectives.
WHAT YOU BRING:
Solid experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role driving complex topics in a digital or agile product environment.
Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently structure ambiguous topics into actionable solutions.
A proven track record of working on cross-functional initiatives, aligning diverse stakeholders, and managing complex dependencies.
The ability to seamlessly connect business and technical perspectives, backed by strong communication, ownership, and facilitation skills.
Hands-on experience defining requirements, user stories, business processes, and test scenarios within agile delivery frameworks.
Bonus: Familiarity with e-commerce, digital customer journeys, or ancillary products is highly advantageous.
WE OFFER:
Flexible, hybrid working policy (1-2 days at the office, depending on location);
Company pension scheme.
Lease bike options / JobRad and 25% subsidy for the Deutschlandticket.
Occasional breakfast/lunch at the office, Smoothie Tuesdays.
Stay happy and healthy with a contribution to your health through the OpenUp platform;

WHY DEPT®?
We are a Growth Invention company built to help the world’s most ambitious brands grow faster. Operating at the intersection of technology and marketing, we create what is next by pioneering ideas, acting fast, and moving further because standing still just is not in our DNA.
We are drawn to people who stay curious, move with intent, and never stop inventing. Our culture runs on three values: better together, relentlessly curious, and get sh*t done. It is how we work, how we grow, and how we make things that matter.
At DEPT®, you will find the freedom to explore, the space to collaborate, and the trust to make a real impact for our clients, for each other, and for the world we are helping to build.
DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION
At DEPT®, we take pride in creating an inclusive workplace where everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive. We actively seek to recruit, develop, nurture, and retain talented individuals from diverse backgrounds, with varying skills and perspectives.
Not sure you meet all qualifications? Apply, and let us decide! Research shows that women and members of underrepresented groups tend not to apply for jobs when they think they may not meet every requirement, when in fact they do. We believe in giving everyone a fair chance to shine.
We also encourage you to reach out to us and discuss any reasonable adjustments we can make to support you throughout the recruitment process and your time with us.
