About the Company
At Flow, we’re reimagining what it means to live, work, and connect. More than just a real estate company, Flow is a brand, a technology platform, and an operations ecosystem spanning condominiums, hotels, multifamily residences, and office spaces. We’re building a new kind of living experience: one that’s flexible, connected, and designed to create genuine community and real value for the people who call Flow home.
Our mission is oneness: prioritizing our residents and their experiences, and fostering connection with ourselves, their neighbors, and the natural world. By putting people at the center of everything we do, we’re creating vibrant, human-centered communities where life, work, creativity, and play all come together in one place.
About the Role
We’re looking for a senior corporate paralegal to join Flow’s legal team and own the operational backbone of how we structure the company. Flow runs a growing portfolio of U.S. entities in regulated industries and obtains a wide variety of operational permits in a variety of U.S. states. This is a great opportunity for a paralegal who wants to own the organizational structure and entity compliance at a high growth startup. We are a small, high-leverage team supporting a company that moves quickly, so you'll cover a lot of ground and be trusted to run matters independently.
Responsibilities
- Entity management: Own the full lifecycle of entity administration — formations and dissolutions, foreign qualifications, annual reports, franchise tax filings, registered agent management, signatories, officer and director lists, post-integration cleanup.
- KYC, UBO, and diligence: Respond to KYC/UBO and diligence requests from partners, auditors, insurers, and counterparties, and build reusable packages.
- Commercial and cross-functional support: Assist with powers of attorney, delegations of authority, and corporate approvals needed by the business.
- Permitting support: Assist with obtaining and maintaining our operational permits across our U.S. jurisdictions.
Ideal Background
- 5+ years of corporate paralegal experience at a major law firm and/or in-house at a high-growth company.
- Deep working knowledge of corporate governance, entity formation and maintenance, and corporate recordkeeping functions.
- Demonstrated ability to independently run multiple time-sensitive workstreams without dropping threads or waiting to be asked.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and processes are still being built — and a bias toward action
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Notary Public commission (FL or NY), or willingness to obtain one.
Benefits
We take care of our people so they can do their best work.
- Health and Wellness Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance and parental leave benefits. On-staff doctor, free therapy through SpringHealth, acupuncture, an Employee Assistance Program, and other wellness offerings.
- Time Off PTO and paid holidays.
- Financial 401(k) retirement plan, healthcare and dependent care FSAs, HSA-compatible plan options with annual employer HSA funding and pre-tax commuter benefits.
- Life at Flow Weekly catered lunches, wellness classes and employee discounts on Flow hotel stays, grocer products, and merch.
Flow is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and hires regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity and/or expression, pregnancy, Veteran status any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
