Senior Customer Success Associate, CEE

Job Description:

About the Role

As a Senior Associate Customer Success Manager, you are on a development path to becoming a full Customer Success Manager (CSM) . This role is designed for a high-potential professional who has mastered the basics of digital advertising and is hungry to develop deep ad-tech expertise, navigate complex operational landscapes, and step up to strategic client ownership.

At IAS, our verification technology is deep, our datasets are massive, and our internal workflows are constantly evolving. We don't expect you to know everything on day one, but we do expect you to be a resilient problem solver who doesn't panic when a process is incomplete or a technical setup requires troubleshooting. You will partner closely with senior CSMs and Sales, managing a book of growing mid-market accounts while learning how to command client relationships in a high-pressure, fast-paced industry.

Additionally, we want an associate who is highly forward-thinking. You should be someone who actively works AI into your daily routines to handle manual tasks, organize data, and free up your time to focus on strategic development.

What You’ll Do:

• Co-Own & Grow a Book of Business: Successfully manage a portfolio of growing mid-market accounts (primarily Tier 3 and transitioning Tier 2 accounts) across the CEE regions. You will own day-to-day satisfaction, adoption, and renewals.
• Fast-Track Technical Mastery: Dive deep into the mechanics of the IAS product suite (verification, brand safety, programmatic, and social integrations). You will learn how to troubleshoot complex setups and bridge the gap between our clients and our Technical Customer Operations (TCO) teams .
• Embed AI in Your Daily Workflow: Actively utilize generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to optimize your daily operational routines—automating report summaries, drafting client communications, and analyzing complex spreadsheet data to isolate campaign anomalies quickly.
• Proactively Solve Process Gaps: When you encounter an uncompleted process, an ambiguous system setup, or a functional bottleneck, you don't wait for a manual. You'll work cross-functionally to find creative workarounds and contribute to building cleaner internal standard operating procedures.
• Support Strategic Account Planning: Partner directly with senior CSMs to support them with governance across markets on high-value, multie-regional accounts, assisting in compiling deep-dive data analyses, identifying measures for campaign optimizations, and preparing for strategic Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) .

What You'll Need:

• Languages: Professional fluency in German and English is mandatory (written and verbal). You will be corresponding with major regional brands and agency partners daily.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Ad Operations, or a similar role at a media agency, DSP, SSP, publisher, or ad-tech provider .
• AI Curiosity & Adoption: You are genuinely interested in LLMs, Agentic AI, and productivity automation. You have a track record of using generative AI tools in your personal or professional life to work smarter and learn faster.
• Digital Media Foundations: A solid baseline understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem (including programmatic buying, social platforms, and agency structures).
• The "Builder" Mindset: Exceptional organizational and project coordination skills. You can comfortably manage a high volume of moving parts, multiple deadlines, and changing priorities without getting overwhelmed.
• Coachability & Ambition: A strong desire to be mentored, take constructive feedback, and actively develop your commercial and presentation skills to graduate into a full CSM role in the medium term .

This role is for you if:

• You are an exceptional communicator who wants to learn how to advise some of the largest advertisers in the EMEA region.
• You get excited about digging into campaign data, spotting patterns, and learning how a complex tech stack works.
• You want a high-growth environment where high performance and agency are actively rewarded with a clear career progression path
