Senior Data Analyst

About the Role

Talent Acquisition (TA) operates in an environment where hiring targets, headcount plans, and role priorities shift on a weekly — sometimes daily — basis. This role exists to ensure the Talent Acquisition function, its executive partners, and its front-line hiring managers always have accurate, up-to-date, decision-ready data at their fingertips. The analyst will own the reporting layer that translates a complex workforce plan into a daily hiring signal, and will be the go-to person for turning ambiguous business questions into clear numbers.

Key Responsibilities

• Own, maintain, audit, and optimize the existing Looker dashboard footprint covering key recruiting metrics, pipeline health, and workforce plan attainment.
• Build custom, on-demand dashboards and analytical views within days to answer rapidly shifting leadership queries.
• Partner with workforce planning teams to translate multi-layered headcount models into daily operational targets, gap analyses, and forward projections.
• Monitor, refresh, and reconcile data pipelines to proactively identify trends, funnel bottlenecks, anomalies, and operational risks.
• Present complex analytical findings to executive leadership while providing clear, actionable insights for recruiters and hiring managers.
• Serve as the primary, service-oriented analytical partner to TA leaders, advising on methodology, data health, and metric interpretation.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in a data or BI analyst role, directly supporting Talent Acquisition, HR, Workforce Planning, or high-velocity operations.
• Advanced expertise in Looker, including LookML modeling, Explores, and dashboard architecture.
• Strong SQL proficiency for writing, reading, and debugging complex queries against modern data warehouses.
• Proven experience handling high-volume hiring data and maintaining operational accuracy during frequent plan changes.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

This is a hybrid position based in our NYC Financial District office, requiring on-site work Tuesday through Thursday and remote work on Monday and Friday.
