Data moves constantly across Macquarie University, such as between student systems, HR and finance platforms, research repositories and clinical applications. The integrations and pipelines that carry it are what allow academics to teach, researchers to discover and clinicians to care. Your focus will be the reliability of data flows between core systems such as AMIS, Workday, FinanceOne, Pure and TrackCare, alongside the delivery of new APIs and key project outcomes.
This is a hands-on technical specialist role with genuine reach. You will guide design decisions, resolve complex data and integration problems, advise clients and IT leadership on emerging technologies, and contribute your subject matter expertise to projects that modernise how the University operates. If you enjoy deep technical work that visibly improves services for tens of thousands of students and staff, this role offers both the platform and the scope.
