The Delivery Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, leading, and delivering scalable data and analytics solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives. Reporting to the Director, Data Architecture, this role serves as the technical leader across multiple data initiatives, partnering with business stakeholders, product teams, engineering teams, and enterprise architects to ensure successful solution delivery.
The ideal candidate combines strong data architecture expertise with solution delivery leadership, driving the implementation of modern data platforms, cloud-based architectures, data integration solutions, and analytics capabilities that enable business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
Design end-to-end data and analytics solutions that support business and technology objectives.
Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical architectures.
Develop architecture blueprints, solution designs, integration patterns, and technical roadmaps.
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and governance policies.
Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and platforms to support current and future business needs.
Solution Delivery Leadership
Lead architecture activities across multiple projects and programs from initiation through implementation.
Collaborate with project managers, product owners, and engineering teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
Identify technical dependencies, risks, and constraints and develop mitigation strategies.
Provide technical leadership during project planning, estimation, and execution activities.
Support agile delivery teams in resolving complex technical challenges.
Data & Analytics Architecture
Design and implement modern data architectures, including data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouses, and real-time data platforms.
Define data integration strategies using APIs, ETL/ELT frameworks, event-driven architectures, and streaming solutions.
Ensure data quality, data governance, metadata management, and master data management considerations are incorporated into solution designs.
Support advanced analytics, AI/ML, and reporting capabilities through scalable data platform architectures.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
Partner closely with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and solution requirements.
Communicate architecture recommendations and technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Build strong relationships across architecture, engineering, product, operations, and business teams.
Facilitate architecture reviews and design governance processes.
Technology & Innovation
Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and cloud capabilities.
Drive modernization initiatives and continuous improvement opportunities across the data ecosystem.
Promote reusable architecture patterns and best practices.
Contribute to the development of the enterprise data strategy and roadmap.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in solution architecture, data architecture, or enterprise data platform delivery.
Experience leading end-to-end delivery of complex data and analytics solutions.
Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, data warehousing, and cloud-based data platforms.
Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies.
Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver enterprise-scale solutions.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Experience with modern data technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse, Redshift, BigQuery, Kafka, or Spark.
Knowledge of data governance, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical, distribution, or other highly regulated industries.
TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, or related architecture certifications.
Experience supporting AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics initiatives.
