Provide technical guidance and leadership in designing and developing reliable, high-quality, and cost-effective software solutions for assigned systems, subsystems, and platforms.
Lead architectural decisions and advise project teams on complex technical challenges, including high-risk situations and system design considerations.
Identify, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies to ensure alignment with business objectives, technology roadmaps, and long-term strategic priorities.
Develop integration and implementation plans for new technologies, architectural enhancements, and system updates.
Review software designs, architectural proposals, and project activities to ensure compliance with technical standards, development guidelines, and quality requirements.
Provide actionable feedback to improve software quality, system reliability, performance, and risk management.
Analyse complex scientific, engineering, business, and data-processing challenges to develop innovative technical solutions.
Address application development, system administration, integration, and network-related challenges through effective architectural design.
Mentor engineers and technical team members, promoting software design excellence, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
Lead or contribute to significant cross-functional technical initiatives and strategic engineering programmes.
Collaborate with project managers, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure effective delivery, deployment, operation, monitoring, and support of cloud-based solutions.
Contribute to innovative service offerings and digital platform capabilities that deliver business value and address evolving customer needs.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
Typically 8–14 years of relevant professional experience in software engineering, architecture, or related technical fields.
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Golang, or JavaScript.
Deep expertise in software systems design, development methodologies, and integration across diverse platforms and technologies.
Strong understanding of cloud-based security concepts, including identity and access management (IAM), firewalls, VPNs, and related network security technologies.
Proven ability to design and implement complex, scalable, and reliable software solutions.
Demonstrated innovation through patents, deployed software solutions, or other significant contributions to software design and engineering.
Strong technical leadership skills, with experience guiding architectural decisions and leading complex projects or programmes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical architectures and design proposals to diverse audiences.
Ability to communicate effectively with business leaders and executive stakeholders, influence decisions, and negotiate technical and architectural options.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic-thinking capabilities.
Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to cross-functional collaboration and technical knowledge sharing.
Fully remote/teleworker working arrangement, primarily from home in India.
