Senior Drainage Engineer – Water Resources

What you’ll do
As a Senior drainage engineer based in our Brisbane Water Resources Team, you’ll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.
Lead and coordinate drainage engineering projects from concept through to delivery.
Develop innovative and sustainable drainage designs aligned with client and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers.
Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project success.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
What you’ll bring
RPEQ accreditation
Proven drainage experience in civil infrastructure projects (particularly in road and rail projects)
Experience working with Austroads guidelines, QLD TMR standards & specifications and QUDM (rail drainage standards and specifications would be desirable).
Strong technical capability in key software including 12d, DRAINS, MUSIC
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects effectively.
