We have an opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join a team developing the next generation of technology that will help shape the future of Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) surgery. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement software solutions that integrate seamlessly with a broader ecosystem of embedded electronics, connected devices, and mechanical systems. You will contribute across the product development lifecycle, from concept and architecture through verification, validation, and product launch, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will collaborate closely with software, electrical, systems, and mechanical engineers to solve complex technical challenges and deliver high-quality products. We are looking for an Embedded Linux Software Engineer to develop and maintain applications running on embedded Linux devices within a regulated medical device environment. This is an individual contributor role requiring the application of professional engineering expertise, sound technical judgment, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing user interfaces using Qt, enabling communication between embedded devices, supporting system integration activities, and troubleshooting deployed applications. Working closely with embedded software, electronics, systems, and product development teams, the engineer will apply established engineering principles and analytical problem-solving skills to deliver robust, high-quality solutions. The role requires a degree or equivalent experience a minimum of 2 or more years experience, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to evaluate technical information and make informed decisions in support of product development objectives.

Experience with integrated development environments (IDE) for projects.
Experience in User interface development in C/C++ or relevant embedded devices frameworks
Experience with software tools for static/dynamic analysis, memory management, code coverage and techniques for analyzing software.
Software Development & Process Experience
Experience estimating software development effort, timelines, and resource requirements for assigned tasks.
Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes and best practices.
Experience using Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and requirements traceability tools.
Familiarity with software development in regulated environments and compliance standards applicable to the SDLC (e.g., IEC 62304, ISO 13485).
Required Qualifications
·Strong software development experience in modern C++.
·Experience developing applications on embedded Linux platforms.
·Experience building user interfaces using Qt/QML or comparable UI frameworks.
·Experience developing and maintaining Bash or other Linux shell scripts.
·Proficiency with software development and build tools such as Git and CMake.
Preferred Qualifications
·Experience developing software for safety-critical or highly regulated applications.
·Experience with embedded systems based on application processors (e.g., Raspberry Pi, NXP i.MX series, or similar platforms).
·Proficiency with Python for test automation, tooling, or system integration activities.
·Experience with unit testing, integration testing, or UI test automation frameworks.
·Experience implementing communication protocols and interfaces such as TCP/IP, UDP, CAN, USB, Serial, or Ethernet.
·Understanding of software architecture, system integration, and troubleshooting in embedded environments.
