Job Description
We’re looking for a driven Senior Enterprise Sales Leader to win new hedge fund clients for Enfusion in Hong Kong. This is a new-business hunting role focused on fund launches and emerging managers: you’ll prospect, build pipeline and close net-new logos, and play a visible part in growing Enfusion’s hedge fund franchise in its Asia-Pacific home market.
You’ll own the full sales cycle, working with Solutions Engineering, Business Development Reps and fellow Enterprise Sales colleagues while managing your own prospect relationships. The ideal candidate is a hungry, self-starting hunter with a genuine interest in how hedge funds run, and a clear ambition to build a sales career at a market-leading platform. The role is based in Hong Kong, with limited travel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, prospect and win new hedge fund clients in Hong Kong – fund launches, emerging managers, spin-outs, and established managers replacing legacy systems.
- Build and manage a robust new-business pipeline from first meeting to signed contract, meeting or exceeding annual new-logo and SaaS revenue targets.
- Get in early on launches by building relationships across the launch ecosystem – prime brokers, capital introduction teams, fund administrators, law firms, auditors, consultants and seeders – so Enfusion is on the shortlist before the vendor search starts.
- Qualify rigorously (MEDDICC or similar): map the decision-makers – CIO or founding PM, COO, CFO, CTO and Head of Trading – and the buying process, and keep Salesforce and your forecast accurate.
- Run discovery and lead tailored demos across portfolio management, order and execution management, risk, analytics, accounting and managed services, working with Solutions Engineering on complex requirements.
- Build business cases and ROI, structure proposals and pricing, and negotiate contracts through to close.
- Own the Hong Kong territory plan and target account list, working with BDRs and Marketing, and represent Enfusion at local industry and prime broker events.
- Work in close coordination with executive management and internal teams (Solutions Engineering, Implementation, Client Services, Marketing) to ensure a clean handover and a successful client launch.
- Stay current on Enfusion’s product suite, the competitive landscape, and hedge fund industry trends in Hong Kong.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven record of new-business hunting and exceeding new-logo targets, ideally selling to hedge funds or other alternative investment managers.
- Solid understanding of hedge fund front-to-back workflows – portfolio management, trading, risk, operations and fund accounting – and of how a fund launch comes together (strategy, prime broker, administrator, technology).
- An existing network in the Hong Kong hedge fund community and launch ecosystem (prime brokerage, capital introduction, fund administration, law firms) is a strong advantage.
- Credible with founding PMs, COOs, CFOs and CTOs, with strong presentation and writing skills for client-facing activities.
- Disciplined pipeline management and forecasting in Salesforce or a similar CRM.
- Ability to work independently while thriving within a team environment.
- High adaptability and flexibility, including the ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change.
- Strong negotiating skills.
Desired Experience and Skills
- 5+ years of new-business sales, business development or client coverage with hedge funds or other buy-side firms – for example at an OMS/PMS or investment technology vendor, prime broker, fund administrator, exchange or market-data provider.
- High performers moving from solutions engineering, prime brokerage or capital introduction into a closing role will be considered.
- Candidates from hedge funds, fund administrators, the sell-side and other hedge fund service providers will be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree from a leading university with a strong academic record; finance, economics, engineering or a related field preferred.
- Fluent English required; Mandarin and Cantonese highly desirable.
- Based in Hong Kong, with limited travel.
