Feature Ownership: Take end-to-end ownership of features, working closely with product stakeholders and cross-functional colleagues to turn requirements into effective solutions.
Software Architecture: Apply functional programming principles and contribute to architectural discussions that support maintainability, scalability, and long-term product quality.
Product Lifecycle Management: Improve all stages of development, from planning and implementation to testing, deployment, and production maintenance.
Technology Evolution: Help keep the technology stack modern, robust, and scalable by identifying opportunities for improvement and adopting appropriate engineering practices.
Third-Party Integrations: Build and maintain integrations with external systems, particularly Microsoft technologies such as Azure and Office 365.
Engineering Collaboration: Work closely with the development and product teams, communicate technical decisions clearly, and contribute to a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer who combines strong full stack or backend development skills with a proactive, independent approach to problem-solving. You should enjoy taking ownership of technical challenges and building scalable applications in a collaborative product environment. The following qualifications are expected:
Professional Experience: At least 4 years of experience in full stack or backend software engineering.
Programming Languages and Frameworks: Hands-on experience with F# or C# combined with a strong motivation to learn F#, as well as ASP.NET Core, React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
SaaS and Business Applications: Experience scaling SaaS products and developing B2B or line-of-business applications is highly desirable.
Software Architecture: Familiarity with Vertical Slices, Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS), Event Sourcing, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) is a strong advantage.
Microsoft Ecosystem: Experience with Azure and/or Office 365 APIs, including Microsoft Graph API, is beneficial.
Engineering Mindset: A solution-oriented, proactive approach, with the ability to work independently, take responsibility, and deliver reliably.
Communication Skills: Fluent written and spoken English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed team.
Location and Time Zone: Based in Europe or a European time zone to support effective collaboration with the team.

Workations and Team Events: Participate in team gatherings and workations in destinations such as Lisbon, Copenhagen, and Mallorca.
Learning and Development: Access a personal learning budget and take ownership of your professional growth.
Modern Technology Stack: Work with F#, ASP.NET Core, React.js, functional programming, event-driven architectures, AI, and Azure.
Meaningful Product Impact: Collaborate directly with product and engineering teams to influence priorities, architecture, and features that matter.
