Who we are
We're bold thinkers and kind teammates, growing fast but staying grounded. Our Nordic roots and global outlook shape a culture of friendliness, creativity, and collaboration, all powered by openness and shared wins. We care deeply about doing the right thing – and doing it together. We aim to improve the flow of goods, time, and energy – and we know we can't shape the future by clinging to the past. So, we keep evolving, together.
What we do
RELEX runs the planning decisions behind 600+ retailers and manufacturers worldwide, deciding, at real scale, what gets forecast, stocked, priced, promoted, and produced across the entire value chain. Few problems combine this much data, this much complexity, and this much real-world weight: get it right and a shelf stays stocked, a factory line doesn’t stall, food doesn’t spoil in a warehouse before it’s sold. Get it wrong, and it shows up in actual losses, for some of the largest retail and manufacturing brands in the world.
We’ve grown for 76 consecutive quarters straight, and it’s still accelerating. The first half of 2026 was the strongest in the company’s history. We’re a team of 2,000+ people, headquartered in Helsinki, with offices across Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific.
In response to our fast growth and market expansion, we are looking for a Senior IT Security Engineer to become the technical backbone of our IT Security Operations team and turn day-to-day security response into lasting, automated defence.
What we need you to do and be
Bring your ideas. Challenge ours. Grow with us.
You will work with the Microsoft security stack: Defender XDR, Sentinel, Intune, Entra ID, and Purview, plus Jamf, to keep RELEX's endpoints and identities secure
You will design and enforce Conditional Access and Zero Trust policies at enterprise scale
You will turn every resolved security incident into a documented, classified playbook with a clear path toward automation, building a security posture based on prevention rather than firefighting
What you'll bring to the table
Our five values are our playbook. We speak up when things don't make sense. We stop doing what doesn't add value. We stay curious, back each other up, and make space for both innovation and laughter.
Hands-on experience with the Microsoft security stack (Defender XDR, Sentinel, Intune, Entra ID, Purview)
Practical PowerShell and Graph API scripting for identity governance, compliance reporting, and security automation, not just GUI-driven workflows
Working knowledge of KQL (Kusto Query Language) for detection engineering and Secure Score reporting
Comfortable being the technical depth in a small, high-ownership team: you build things that keep working without supervision
Comfortable with using AI in your everyday work and developing the use of AI tools as a larger organizational strategy
Fluent in written and spoken English
As a bonus, we consider experience working with an international team, plus great communication and organizational skills
What we consider an advantage
Endpoint privilege management experience (BeyondTrust EPM or an equivalent platform)
Working knowledge of SOC 2 and ISO 27001 control mapping
What we offer in return
You'll be supported and given the space to thrive. We offer meaningful work, flexibility, and a culture that backs you to share your voice and be authentic.
An international career and learning opportunities
A rapidly growing and financially robust software company with exciting opportunities for career growth, also in the future
Flexibility in how and where you work
Room to thrive in a fast-growing global company with a good market position
Practical benefits that support work, family, wellness, and everyday life
Annual leave
Diverse, inclusive, and supportive work culture
Work that meaningfully reduces waste and improves sustainability
Ownership, autonomy and flat hierarchies
Two paid volunteering days each year
RELEX funds relevant certifications and security-community events
