Omnissa’s Horizon Cloud Services Next Gen team is looking for an experienced Staff Engineer to help architect and evolve the next generation of our cloud-native VDI/DaaS platform.

Horizon Cloud Services powers Omnissa’s virtual desktop and app delivery experience for customers worldwide. The Next Gen team owns the architecture and roadmap for the platform’s next evolution — re-architecting core services for greater scale, resilience, and cloud-native operability. As a Staff Engineer, you’ll take on end-to-end ownership of architecturally significant problems, working alongside a globally distributed engineering organization spanning the US and India.

As a Staff Engineer on the Horizon Cloud Services Next Gen team, you will be an architect for one or more subsystems of the platform, with a clear understanding of how your decisions impact the broader product. You’ll define the technical vision for your area, incorporate security, performance, testability, and operability into every design, and raise the technical bar of the team through direct mentorship and by setting the standard others aspire to.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
Compensation: The typical base salary for this role is between USD $180,000– $250,000 per year and it may be eligible for participation in a corporate bonus program. Actual compensation offer may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, or other relevant factors.
