Understands the accountabilities of the Front Office, Commodity Risk, Commercial Finance, technical accounting, Core Finance, service providers and external audit, and can shape effective operating boundaries and service expectations across them.
- Applies broad judgement to complex, high-impact accounting, control, data and process issues, often under significant time pressure and with incomplete or conflicting information. Assesses materiality and risk, challenges assumptions, resolves cross-functional barriers and makes risk-based decisions on remediation, reporting treatment and critical issue where guidance may be incomplete.
- Accountable for the quality, timeliness and control of financial results and close delivery across the full ST&S controllership portfolio. Decisions and recommendations may affect reported results, CFO assurance, external audit outcomes, statutory or regulatory reporting, control effectiveness and senior management confidence in financial information.
