About Flipdish
At Flipdish, we’re turning the tables in favour of independent restaurant and takeaway owners by offering them powerful, simple-to-use tech solutions backed by real human support. Everything we do is designed to make running a restaurant satisfyingly simple in a world that’s anything but.
About the role
You’ll join Flipdish’s Marketing organisation as a senior, hands-on individual contributor, owning full-funnel demand generation through paid media while leading broader growth experimentation across the UK and Ireland.
You’ll inherit a mature Meta programme with a five-figure monthly media budget and a strong spend-to-demand baseline. Protecting and improving that performance matters, but breaking new ground is why this role exists. You’ll test new channels and growth mechanics, use AI and automation to increase your impact, and make investment decisions based on the journey from first click to signed customer.
Success in this role looks like profitable revenue growth, stronger paid-media efficiency, a repeatable experimentation engine, and clear alignment between paid, organic, Product, Commercial, and Creative teams.
What you’ll own
- Own and optimise Flipdish’s Meta paid-media programme across the UK and Ireland; protect the current efficiency baseline while identifying opportunities to scale profitable demand.
- Manage PPC across Google and other relevant platforms; use AI and automation for routine optimisation while retaining sound human judgement over budget, strategy, and risk.
- Build and run structured experiments across creative, audiences, bidding, channel mix, and emerging AI-driven or conversational discovery channels; define clear hypotheses, use fast feedback loops, and stop low-performing ideas quickly.
- Evaluate channels against full-funnel economics, from first click to signed customer and revenue contribution; use CPL, CAC, payback period, and downstream conversion to guide investment decisions.
- Partner with the SEO/AEO specialist to connect paid and organic strategy, identify where the channels reinforce or compete with one another, and improve overall demand capture.
- Build clear dashboards and automate reporting, monitoring, and routine workflows so the wider Marketing team can understand channel performance, experiment results, and next-step recommendations.
- Work closely with Product, Commercial, Design, and Brand teams to understand customer needs and product value, sharpen positioning, respond to emerging trends, and iterate creative assets quickly using AI tools.
- Challenge poor decisions and propose better ways of working. Constructive challenge is a responsibility, and decisions should be guided by evidence rather than comfort or convention.
What success looks like
- Maintain or improve Meta’s spend-to-demand efficiency while scaling profitable customer acquisition across the UK and Ireland.
- Increase the revenue contribution of paid media by improving full-funnel conversion, CAC, and payback period—not simply lead volume or top-of-funnel engagement.
- Establish a consistent experimentation cadence that produces clear learning, quickly stops weak ideas, and identifies promising new channels or growth mechanics.
- Improve coordination across paid media, SEO/AEO, Product, Commercial, and Creative so campaigns and messaging reinforce one another.
- Give senior stakeholders a clear, defensible view of performance and where Flipdish should invest next.
About you
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Have 8-10+ years’ experience in paid media and demand generation, with a strong record of ownership as a senior individual contributor.
- Have significant experience working with UK or Irish brands, clients, or markets, and understand the cultural, commercial, and consumer nuances needed to create locally relevant campaigns.
- Can demonstrate hands-on Meta Ads expertise at meaningful spend levels, alongside broader PPC experience across Google Ads and similar platforms.
- Think like a growth hacker: you run a high volume of focused experiments, read results honestly, and stop ideas that do not work.
- Are fluent in full-funnel metrics such as CPL, CAC, payback period, pipeline conversion, and revenue contribution, as well as channel metrics such as CTR and CPC.
- Use SaaS, automation, and AI tools to increase your leverage across reporting, optimisation, workflows, analysis, and creative iteration.
- Communicate complex performance data clearly and turn it into concise, honest recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively across Product, Commercial, SEO/AEO, Design, and Brand teams while maintaining strong ownership of your area.
- Track emerging trends and act quickly when they present a credible opportunity to generate demand.
The following would help you stand out:
- Working knowledge of technical SEO, content strategy, and answer-engine optimisation across platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and AI Overviews.
- Experience testing emerging AI-driven advertising, conversational discovery, or other early-stage demand channels.
- A hands-on ability to develop and iterate ad creative or design assets using AI-assisted tools.

At Flipdish, we’re on the side of independent restaurant and takeaway owners, running busy operations on tight margins with rising costs, staffing challenges, and an increasingly demanding customer base. Our job is to make their lives easier with technology that’s powerful, satisfyingly simple, and backed by real human support.
Our integrated ecosystem, spanning online ordering, marketing, loyalty, point of sale, menu optimisation, and operational automation, helps restaurants grow while staying in control. Inside the company, we value ownership and clarity, with a friendly, people-led culture behind it. We trust our people to help shape what kind of employer Flipdish is, not just follow a script.
