Working closely with Capacity Planners, Staffing Strategists, Talent Acquisition, HR and market teams, the Senior Manager will help ensure client demand is effectively resourced, workforce risks are proactively identified, and RM processes are consistently managed across the GOCs.

The role will act as a key operational partner to the GOC RM Lead, taking ownership of defined areas and escalating strategic, commercial or significant workforce decisions where required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Global Client Resource Management

• Own Resource Management for selected strategic global clients using GOC talent.
• Support new global client opportunities and transitions, translating demand into clear resource requirements and staffing plans.
• Coordinate staffing requirements across multiple GOC locations and disciplines.
• Work with Capacity Planning and Staffing teams to identify appropriate resources and drive open requirements through to fulfilment.
• Maintain oversight of the client's GOC workforce, including open roles, upcoming demand, resource movements, backfills and capacity risks.
• Establish an effective RM cadence with relevant client and market stakeholders.
• Proactively identify resource issues and drive actions to resolution.
• Escalate significant commercial, capacity or stakeholder risks to the GOC RM Lead.

1. Utilisation & Workforce Optimisation

• Coordinate regular utilisation reviews across GOC teams.
• Identify under-utilisation, over-utilisation and available capacity and work with relevant teams to agree appropriate actions.
• Monitor utilisation trends and highlight emerging risks or opportunities.
• Ensure actions from utilisation reviews are tracked through to completion.
• Support proactive redeployment of available talent against suitable client demand.
• Provide concise utilisation insights and exception reporting to the GOC RM Lead.

1. Balanced Teams

• Support regular reviews of team structures across GOC clients.
• Identify opportunities to improve team balance, workload distribution and appropriate management oversight.
• Work with RM, client and operational teams to address identified team structure or workload issues.
• Monitor agreed actions and ensure they are followed through.
• Highlight structural workforce issues requiring longer-term intervention.

1. Bench Management & Redeployment

• Own the ongoing coordination and governance of GOC bench activity.
• Support the rollout of the existing bench framework across additional GOC locations.
• Maintain visibility of available resources and actively connect relevant skills and capacity with upcoming client requirements.
• Coordinate appropriate bench project opportunities where immediate billable deployment is not available.
• Track bench movements and provide visibility of key risks, ageing cases and redeployment opportunities.
• Work with relevant GOC stakeholders to ensure consistent adoption of the bench process.

1. Resource Planning & Operational Support

• Provide support on complex staffing requirements that require coordination across multiple markets, clients, disciplines or GOCs.
• Assist Capacity Planners and Staffing teams with more complex resource challenges.
• Monitor key staffing risks, blockers and ageing requirements and help drive them towards resolution.
• Coordinate with Finance, Talent Acquisition, HR and other functions where additional support is required to fulfil resource needs.
• Support workforce and capacity planning activities by ensuring emerging demand and supply risks are visible.

1. RM Projects & Continuous Improvement

• Own and deliver selected Resource Management projects and improvement initiatives.
• Support the rollout of consistent RM practices across GOC locations.
• Identify opportunities to simplify manual RM processes and improve ways of working.
• Support improvements to RM reporting, dashboards and workforce visibility.
• Lead agreed workstreams such as:
• Bench management rollout
• Balanced Teams
• Utilisation governance
• RM reporting and dashboards
• Process standardisation
• Skills and capability visibility

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Experience in Resource Management, People Operations, or a related area is desirable.
• This is a hands-on role that requires someone who is motivated to make an impact, not simply tick boxes; it requires initiative, ownership and an appetite for challenge.
• Strong communication, proactive, organisation and influencing skills.
• Experience managing resource requirements across multiple clients, teams or geographies.
• Good understanding of utilisation, capacity management and workforce deployment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert workforce data into practical actions.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive actions to completion.
• Experience delivering cross-functional projects or process improvements.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
• Ability to operate independently while recognising when issues require senior escalation.

What Success Looks Like

The Senior Manager will be successful when:

• Selected global clients have clear, proactive RM ownership.
• Complex staffing requirements are driven to resolution without requiring continuous intervention from the GOC RM Lead.
• Utilisation and balanced-team reviews result in clear actions and follow-through, rather than simply reporting.
• Bench capacity is visible and actively managed across GOCs.
• RM initiatives are delivered consistently across locations.
• Capacity Planning and Staffing teams have an effective senior operational escalation point.
• Major workforce risks are identified early and escalated with clear recommendations.
