Airwallex is the AI-native financial operating system for a real-time, intelligent economy. More than 675,000 businesses, including McLaren Racing, Qantas, SHEIN, and TikTok, use us, directly or through our platform partners, to run their financial operations or build and monetize financial products of their own.
We started in Melbourne in 2015 to build the infrastructure global commerce runs on. We're the regulated backbone behind global payments: not by accident, but by design. A decade plus, 85+ licenses, and a financial infrastructure spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
We're co-headquartered in San Francisco and Singapore, with more than 2,700 people across 27 offices. We hire builders with founder-level energy, people who move fast with good judgment, dig in with real curiosity, and make calls from first principles rather than waiting to be told what to do. As Senior Manager, Revenue Strategy & Operations, you’ll shape revenue strategy for Airwallex’s most important enterprise opportunities across ANZ. You’ll work closely with Enterprise Sales and Account Management to support priority deals and customer growth, while building the reporting, tooling and operating rhythms that make our enterprise revenue engine more effective.
Own the strategy for Airwallex’s most important enterprise opportunities, staying close to priority deals and helping teams define winning approaches.
Partner with Sales and Account Management to develop and execute tailored strategies for individual enterprise customers across new business, expansion and retention.
Support complex commercial decisions, including opportunity prioritisation, deal strategy, business cases, pricing and packaging considerations, and commercially grounded recommendations.
Manage the tooling, reporting and operating rhythms that support both front-book growth and back-book performance.
Improve pipeline visibility, performance insights, forecasting and commercial reporting to help leaders make informed decisions.
Identify friction in commercial workflows and create simpler, more scalable ways for teams to operate.
Turn strategic thinking into practical execution by taking ownership from problem definition through implementation, adoption and measurement.
Lead high-priority, cross-functional initiatives involving Sales, Account Management, Product, Finance, Legal, Risk and Operations.
Build trusted relationships with enterprise customers and internal stakeholders through clear communication, commercial judgement and a strong understanding of customer needs.
Develop repeatable playbooks and operating mechanisms from lessons learned across strategic opportunities, while maintaining the flexibility required for complex enterprise customers.
You’ll work from our Sydney office three days a week.
7+ years of professional experience in strategy, consulting, revenue strategy, commercial operations, commercial finance or a related field.
A bachelor’s degree.
Experience in consulting, or a comparable environment that developed rigorous problem-solving and executive communication skills.
A strategic mindset and the ability to move comfortably from consultancy-style problem solving to hands-on execution.
A track record of solving complex problems and turning analysis into practical, commercially grounded solutions.
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with executives, customers and delivery teams.
Experience partnering with Sales and Account Management teams on customer strategy, commercial planning, enterprise deals or growth initiatives.
Experience in fintech, payments, financial services, SaaS or another complex, technology-led business.
Experience in go-to-market strategy, enterprise revenue operations or commercial strategy.
Experience working on large enterprise deals or complex customer engagements involving multiple stakeholders, products, markets or commercial models.
Experience across both new-business strategy and existing-customer growth, expansion or account management.
Experience with CRM, business intelligence or revenue tooling, and the ability to turn data into executive-ready insights.
Experience building business cases, forecasting models, dashboards, playbooks or scalable operating mechanisms.
You're comfortable with ambiguity.
You connect dots across functions and hold the big picture without losing grip on the details.
You simplify complexity rather than hiding behind it.
You adapt your communication style to your audience without losing your core message.
You come to the table with a point of view, not just a problem.
Most strategy roles hand you a slide deck. This one hands you the keys.
Strategy & Operations finds the next point of leverage in a hyper-growth fintech, then builds the system to capture it. We spot opportunities early, design how Airwallex scales into them, and turn that vision into the machinery that drives revenue across markets and products.
You'll get the kind of access most people wait a decade for: a direct line to the growth engine, work that spans every function, and the freedom to own ambiguous, high-stakes problems end to end.
And you won't do it the old way. We arm our people with AI to move faster than teams ten times our size, modeling, researching, and shipping at a pace that creates an unfair advantage.
If you want to do the best work of your career on problems that actually matter, build with us.
