Senior Partner Account Executive, UK - Insurance

About the Role:

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Senior Partner Account Executive to launch, scale, and optimise partnerships across our ecosystem with a focus on insurance carriers and brokers. Samsara’s telematics and dashcam technology already help thousands of customers improve safety and reduce risk - this role will accelerate those benefits by developing high-impact partnerships that drive mutual growth.

You will be the face of Samsara to insurance executives, building scalable programmes that directly influence customer acquisition, retention, and loss cost improvement. If you thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments, are motivated by measurable business impact, and enjoy turning ideas into reality, this is your opportunity to make a difference.

Relocation assistance will not be provided for this role.

In this role you will:

• Own and grow our relationships with insurance carriers, brokers and MGAs in the UK
• Design and run partner programmes that drive customer acquisition, retention and loss-cost improvement - and the Samsara revenue that comes with them
• Map accounts with partners, pick joint targets and bring Samsara sales into the deals
• Build the playbook: how we qualify, onboard and scale insurance partnerships

You should apply if:

• You want to impact the industries that run our world: Your efforts will result in real-world impact - helping to keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, and most importantly, ensure workers return home safely.
• Your mantra is #alwaysbeprospecting: The world of operations is vast. Your partners are often out in the field and the best way to catch them is live. Samsara’s top employees do constant research to find companies and contacts to expand their pipeline.
• You have innate curiosity in how businesses work: One day you’ll meet with someone in waste management and the next you may be learning about the inner workings of a food distribution center. Our top sales team members seek to learn the ins and outs of the businesses they support in order to make a larger impact.
• You want to develop the playbook, not just follow one: Our partner ecosystem is young. You'll define how we take partners to value - from first conversation to joint customers - and build the model that lets those partnerships deliver maximum value for Samsara at scale.
• You are a life-long learner: Samsara sales are complex. You will need to learn about businesses where you previously had little knowledge. The payoff is big but you have to be willing to put in the work.
• You build genuine relationships with your partners and our customers: The industries we serve have relied on pen-and-paper solutions for years and haven’t been met with the type of technology we offer. Our customers value earned trust and human relationships built over time.
• You want to be with the best: Samsara’s high-performance culture means you’ll be surrounded by the best and challenged to go farther than you have before.

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Strong sales, partnerships, or business development experience, ideally within a B2B technology or insurance-related field and a track record of overachievement.
• A builder mentality - you thrive in ambiguous environments and know how to create structure, process, and scale.
• Exceptional relationship management skills, with experience engaging stakeholders from the C-suite to front-line sales teams.
• A strategic and data-driven mindset, using insights to optimise programmes and drive revenue.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.

An ideal candidate also has:

• Experience working in or with insurance carriers, brokers, or related financial services.
• Consulting experience, ideally working with insurance companies.

Why Join Samsara?

• Make an impact: Your work will directly improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability in industries that power the global economy.
• Work with the best: Join a high-performance, mission-driven team that values collaboration, innovation, and results.
• Grow with us: We’re scaling rapidly, which means new challenges, learning opportunities, and career advancement.
