Jitter helps creative and marketing teams produce standout, on-brand animated content at scale. We combine the power of professional design tools with the speed of AI, making world-class creative production accessible to everyone.
Today, over 150,000 creators use Jitter every month, including teams at companies like Amazon, Monzo, and Perplexity. But our ambition goes much further. We believe AI is fundamentally changing how creative work gets done, and we're building a future where people and AI agents can turn any idea into finished content, across every format and channel, without compromising on quality or creative control.
If the challenge of inventing the creative platform for the AI era excites you, we'd love to build it together.
✨ Our mission. Make motion design accessible to all designers and creative teams.
🔭 Our ambition. Become the leading platform to create animated content at scale.
You are a hands-on product designer with a deep passion for craft and a strong belief in close collaboration with engineers to bring excellence into every product detail, from high-level user experience to the finest interface interaction. You thrive at the intersection of design and engineering, ensuring that every feature we ship is thoughtful, cohesive, and beautifully executed.
2+ years of experience designing and shipping polished, user-centered products, ideally at a startup or scale-up. We care more about talent and potential than years on a CV
AI fluency. You actively use AI in your own design process, and you're excited to prototype and design AI-powered features for Jitter
You can ship to production yourself using tools like Cursor, turning designs into working product without waiting on engineering resources
A strong portfolio of shipped work (personal projects very welcome)
Outstanding visual design skills, with strong command of typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy
A sharp eye for design, obsessive attention to detail, and an intuitive sense of what feels right
A natural problem-solver who enjoys making the complex feel simple and elegant
Deep appreciation for design craft, and a creative sensibility shaped by curiosity across disciplines
Experience in motion design is a plus (bonus if you've used Jitter or explored similar tools), especially if you're eager to rethink how motion tools should work rather than recreate traditional ones
Highly autonomous, with the stakeholder management skills to drive decisions forward
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative environment where speed, autonomy, and high standards go hand in hand
You'll be the first software designer to join the product team as we enter the next phase of Jitter's growth. This is a foundational role, with the mission to own the end-to-end product experience (the editor, the workspace, and every feature in between) and make sure great design is never a bottleneck to shipping.
Own the craft. You'll be responsible for the full execution of Jitter's core product design: every pixel, every interaction, every moment of the user journey. You'll have the authority to challenge assumptions, rethink workflows, and simplify complexity across the interface.
Raise the bar. Our goal is to stand shoulder to shoulder with the best-designed products in the world (Apple, Figma, Linear, Framer, etc). You'll set the standard, push the limits of our craft, and help establish design excellence as a core company value.
Ship it yourself. You'll take ideas from concept to production, prototyping and shipping directly in code with AI tools, so design moves as fast as the product.
Bring AI into the product. You'll design how AI shows up in Jitter, making powerful new capabilities feel simple and natural for creative teams.
Be part of the bigger picture. You'll contribute to strategic decisions, roadmap planning, and long-term product vision.
Evolving the editor by introducing new advanced creative features in the most intuitive way possible. You'll collaborate closely with engineers to invent solutions that feel obvious in hindsight, the kind of solutions people talk about with: "How did no one build this before?"
Redesigning the workspace experience to support the needs of fast-growing teams and global organizations, with leading companies like Google, DEPT, Spotify, AKQA, The New York Times, LVMH, and more already adopting Jitter.
Shaping the vision and execution of the industry's first motion design OS, defining what it is, how it works, and how it empowers the next generation of creative teams.
You'll be joining a fast-moving, experimental environment where it's safe to try, fail, learn, and build again. We're a small, ambitious, and kind team with a high talent density across disciplines, operating with the focus and output of a 40+ person company.
Our team brings strong creative convictions and deep experience from world-class institutions like Apple, Google, GoPro, Slack, Y Combinator, Stanford, Polytechnique, École Centrale, and more. Everyone at Jitter has real ownership, autonomy, and the freedom to shape how they work, what they build, and how they grow.
We're looking for people who bring care, intensity, and purpose to everything they create, and who see every challenge as a chance to do the best work of their lives. People who are obsessed with the problem, who care deeply about unlocking creativity for others, and who feel genuinely connected to the mission.
We believe that level of passion is how we'll build something truly original, not just a great tool, but a lasting creative platform. If this feels like the kind of opportunity you've been waiting for, and you want to help define what the future of creative tools looks like for the next decade, then we'd love to build it with you.
Join an early-stage team with real traction: strong community, product-market fit, community love, and a clear roadmap to grow over x3 every year. Jitter is already a leading design tool: we serve hundreds of thousands of monthly active users, the community awarded us a Design Tool of the Year award on Product Hunt, and our Figma plugin has more than 500k installs, the largest standalone animation plugin on Figma Community.
Deepen your creative confidence. At Jitter, software design is embedded within the broader design and brand ecosystem, giving you the opportunity to stretch into more artistic, expressive, and conceptual territory. It's a chance to grow not just as a designer, but as a multidimensional creative.
Grow with the company. We're planning to double the team by the end of 2027, and you'll be joining at a pivotal moment. If leadership is your path, we'll support your growth from individual contributor to manager with mentorship and opportunity.
Explore side projects that broaden your creative scope, beyond software design: co-host and produce a design podcast; contribute to our in-house content studio (fully equipped with pro gear); collaborate on brand events, merch drops, or creative partnerships with studios and design-led brands.
Work from our 500m² flagship studio in the heart of Le Marais, Paris's most vibrant neighborhoods, surrounded by cafés, art galleries, and emerging brands shaping global culture. Our office is more than a workspace: it's both a brand flagship and a design hub for the creative community, where we host monthly events and welcome the world to join us in building what's next.
We are building a stellar team of humble, inspiring, creative smart folks who enjoy building world-class products, learning, and growing together. Here are some soft skills we're excited about:
