About Unlimit
Unlimit is a global fintech ecosystem built to eliminate financial borders holding businesses back. The company provides the extensive infrastructure needed to scale globally, integrating payment processing, multi-currency business accounts, BaaS and crypto gateways into a single, intelligent platform.
Across 17 offices globally, Unlimit bridges hyper-local expertise with a high-capacity financial network, giving companies the agility to expand across regions with operational confidence and speed. Driving the evolution of payments, Unlimit is transforming its infrastructure from human-operated fintech into AI-native financial infrastructure — where APIs are consumed by machines, integrations are negotiated by agents, and systems evolve continuously through intelligent automation. Our next users are not only humans. They are AI agents acting on behalf of humans and businesses.
Unlimit serves more than the needs of businesses today; we are building the nervous system for a borderless global economy.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Banking & Fintech team in Belgrade.
We need a product-minded designer who goes beyond visually appealing interfaces: someone
who understands business goals, identifies user problems, challenges assumptions, and owns
design solutions.
You’ll work on complex financial products: banking interfaces, payment flows, transaction
management, and merchant-facing platforms. We especially value designers who use AI tools
daily to speed up exploration, prototyping, and iteration.
The ideal candidate combines strong product thinking, hands-on fintech experience, and the
ability to deliver intuitive, scalable solutions independently.
What You’ll Do
Product Design & Ownership
• Own the end-to-end design process, from requirements and user needs to prototyping,
implementation, and post-launch improvements.
• Translate complex business requirements into intuitive, scalable user experiences.
• Work with product stakeholders to identify problems and make informed design
decisions based on business goals, user needs, and product metrics.
• Proactively find opportunities to improve existing products and user journeys.
Banking & Payment UX
• Design and improve banking dashboards, payment flows, transaction management, and
merchant-facing applications, considering regulatory and technical constraints.
• Design complete user journeys, including empty, loading, error, success, and edge-case
states.
• Ensure consistency and usability across web and mobile.
AI-Assisted Design
• Use AI tools (Figma AI, Claude, v0.dev, or similar) to explore UI variations, generate
concepts, and build interactive prototypes.
• Experiment with emerging AI capabilities and integrate them into everyday design
processes.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for usability, consistency, and alignment with
requirements.
Design Systems & Collaboration
• Contribute to existing design systems, UI components, and patterns.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Frontend Developers, Solution Architects, System
Analysts, and QA Engineers to ensure solutions are technically feasible.
• Prepare clear specifications and support implementation through development.
Research & Validation
• Conduct competitive analysis and evaluate existing user journeys.
• Use user feedback, research, and product data to inform decisions.
• Participate in usability testing and keep improving experiences based on feedback and
performance.
What We’re Looking For
• 6+ years in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or related roles, focused on digital products.
• 4+ years designing for Banking, Fintech, Payments, or related financial services.
• Strong product thinking: understanding business goals, identifying user problems,
challenging requirements, and proposing effective solutions.
• Proven end-to-end ownership, from discovery and concept to implementation.
• A strong portfolio showing complex interfaces, user journeys, and the reasoning behind
design decisions.
• Advanced Figma skills (components, auto-layout, variables, prototyping).
• Experience with design systems and reusable UI components.
• Hands-on use of AI tools in daily design work (ideation, UI generation, prototyping,
exploration).
• Strong grasp of interaction design, usability, and complex multi-state flows.
• Understanding of frontend principles and technical constraints.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate cross-functionally, and clearly communicate
design decisions
