Valon is the leading AI platform for mortgage servicing, building the AI-native operating system for regulated finance.
Before providing the system of record that powers the entire industry, we built and ran our own mortgage servicer on it. That gave us a real regulated environment to prove our technology could replace the mainframe systems servicers have used for decades. Carrington acquired that servicer and adopted ValonOS as its core platform, allowing us to focus entirely on scaling our SaaS platform.
ValonOS is now on track to power 1 in 6 U.S. mortgages across major mortgage servicers like Newrez, Carrington, and ServiceMac. Every process on the platform is structured and programmable, enabling our AI agents to perform core servicing work, like handling payments, escrow, and homeowner questions, directly within the system's controls.
We recently raised a $150 million Series D at a $2.3 billion valuation by new investor Ribbit Capital, with continued support from existing backer a16z, amongst others.
Valon’s Design team is a tight-knit and ambitious team; As a user-centered design team, we create meaningful and intuitive experiences that set the industry bar. Our company is at the unique stage where you’ll have the opportunity to help shape the core experiences of the homeowners we serve. Senior at Valon means
A track record of creating intuitive flows and elegant user experiences. Despite working with complex edge cases, compliance considerations, and technical constraints.

Shape the vision for your product area. Using your domain expertise and understanding of how your product area’s efforts impact company objectives. You participate in developing your team’s roadmap, processes, and organizational plans.
Cross-team leadership. You’re proactive about driving impactful initiatives forward, coordinating with others to resolve cross-domain challenges, and investing in others’ growth through actionable feedback and coaching.
Think and design at a system level. Not just at a feature level. While solving a specific problem, you consider how it relates to similar issues in other areas and how to build consistent experience.
User empathy and advocacy.
Strong communication and collaboration.
Critical thinker and thought partners.
Humble and growth-oriented mindset.
