Location expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
The Senior Product Manager is responsible for leading the vision, strategy, development, and delivery of AI-driven solutions that transform and modernize the end-to-end origination experience across Mortgage and Home Equity products. This role drives the identification, evaluation, and implementation of innovative artificial intelligence capabilities that enhance customer experiences, improve operational efficiency, mitigate risk, and deliver measurable business value. As a key member of the Home Lending Delivery team, the Senior Product Manager partners closely with Product Managers, Retail Delivery Leads, Technology teams, Data Science, Operations, and business stakeholders to define and execute a strategic roadmap of AI-enabled capabilities.
This leader is responsible for evaluating and recommending the optimal approach for delivering AI solutions, including internally developed capabilities, third-party vendor platforms, and strategic partnerships. The Senior Product Manager develops business cases, conducts cost-benefit and ROI analyses, assesses risks, and collaborates with Procurement, Legal, Risk, and Technology teams to support solution selection and implementation. The role translates business needs into scalable product requirements, establishes product roadmaps, defines minimum viable products (MVPs), and oversees delivery from concept through implementation.
The Senior Product Manager works closely with data science, engineering, and governance teams to ensure AI models and solutions are developed, tested, deployed, and maintained in accordance with enterprise standards for model risk management, governance, explainability, fairness, and regulatory compliance. This individual drives the integration of AI capabilities into existing lending platforms and operational workflows while ensuring alignment with internal audit, risk management, and data governance requirements.
In addition, the role serves as a key liaison between technical AI teams and business stakeholders, building strong cross-functional partnerships and fostering organizational adoption of AI-enabled capabilities. The Senior Product Manager monitors emerging trends in artificial intelligence, machine learning, fintech, intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and mortgage technology to identify opportunities that support business growth and innovation. This leader defines success metrics, tracks performance against key business outcomes, develops go-to-market strategies, and continuously evaluates solution effectiveness to maximize value realization. The position also manages cross-functional dependencies, removes delivery obstacles, supports quarterly planning activities, and ensures AI initiatives are successfully integrated into broader product and delivery roadmaps.

-Experience leading product discovery efforts, identifying market opportunities, validating customer needs, and translating insights into innovative solutions.
-Strong product development experience with the ability to manage products from concept through delivery, launch, and ongoing optimization.
-Expertise in channel alignment and management, ensuring seamless integration across business, operations, technology, and customer-facing channels.
-Experience driving product adoption through change management, stakeholder engagement, training, and communication strategies.
-Ability to conduct customer experience research and leverage customer insights to inform product decisions and enhance user experiences.
-Experience working within Agile delivery environments, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions iteratively and efficiently.
-Knowledge of go-to-market planning, sales channel enablement, product positioning, and launch execution.
-Demonstrated ability to establish performance metrics, monitor KPIs and OKRs, and optimize product outcomes based on data-driven insights.
-Experience applying marketing and analytics capabilities to measure product performance, customer engagement, and business impact.
-Strong customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering solutions that improve customer outcomes, simplify experiences, and create long-term value.
-Experience in mortgage lending, home equity, or consumer lending operations.
-Experience leading AI, machine learning, intelligent automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
-Knowledge of the end-to-end mortgage and home equity origination lifecycle.
-Experience evaluating and implementing vendor, partner, and internally developed technology solutions.
-Familiarity with AI governance, model risk management, regulatory compliance, and data governance frameworks.
-Demonstrated ability to build business cases, analyze ROI, and influence executive stakeholders.
-Strong product management, strategic planning, and cross-functional leadership skills.
-Experience partnering with technology, data science, operations, risk, compliance, and business teams to deliver enterprise solutions.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $126,820.00 - $149,200.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
