Goods & Services is looking for a Senior QA Engineer- Manual & Automation who thrives in a hybrid role that blends manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate is proficient with automation tools such as Appium, Selenium with Java, and REST Assured; equally comfortable designing and executing manual and exploratory test cases; excels in API automation testing, Linux systems, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration; has a solid awareness of how AI is being applied to QA; and is autodidactic and hungry to learn. 

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual and exploratory test cases and test plans covering functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium with Java, ensuring tests are reliable, reusable, maintainable, and aligned with application requirements.
• Develop and maintain mobile automation tests using Appium, covering critical user flows and mobile-specific scenarios.
• Design and execute API automation tests using REST Assured, validating API functionality, data integrity, responses, authentication, error handling, and negative scenarios.
• Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of QA automation frameworks, test strategies, and testing processes.
• Analyze automated and manual test failures, investigate defects, review logs and system behavior, and perform root cause analysis to identify application, automation, or environment issues.
• Work directly with Linux environments to configure test environments, review logs, troubleshoot issues, and support test execution and automation activities.
• Identify quality risks, edge cases, and test coverage gaps, and proactively recommend improvements to increase product quality and test effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders to clarify requirements, investigate defects, communicate testing results, and drive issues through resolution.
• Apply AI-powered tools and techniques to QA and software testing, including AI-assisted test generation, test/code review, automation optimization, and other emerging approaches that improve testing efficiency and quality.
• Stay current with new testing tools, automation frameworks, AI technologies, and industry best practices, independently learning and applying relevant technologies to the QA process.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and help establish best practices for automation, test coverage, defect prevention, and overall software quality.
• Provide clear and actionable feedback on product quality, test results, defects, and potential risks to support informed technical and product decisions.

What you’ll need:

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 
•    5+ years of experience in QA/Software Testing, with hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing. 
•    Proficient with automation tools and technologies such as Appium, Selenium with Java, and REST Assured. 
•    Solid experience designing, executing, and maintaining manual and exploratory test cases and test plans, in addition to automation work (this is a hybrid QA role). 
•    Demonstrated experience in API automation testing using industry-standard tools and libraries.  
•    Hands-on experience with Linux systems, including configuration and troubleshooting.  
•    Solid working knowledge of how AI is applied to QA/software testing (e.g., AI-assisted test generation, self-healing automation, AI-driven code/test review), and genuine curiosity to keep learning in this space.  
•    Autodidactic mindset — self-driven, resourceful, and hungry to learn new tools, frameworks, and testing approaches independently.  
•    Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong analytical abilities.  
•    Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team.

• Experience with Cursor (AI-assisted development/testing tool).
• Experience with JMeter/Load Runner.
• Solid abilities with JavaScript and VB Script.
• Experience with Cypress testing tool.
• Abilities with .NET framework.
