Working closely with the Quality Manager and Lead Quality, you will support the delivery of SPT (Transmission) Project Quality requirements, objectives and targets. This role also involves providing technical quality advice and training to both Construction teams and Contractors as required, ensuring quality expectations and best practices are understood and consistently applied.

You will play a key role in maintaining and improving Quality Management Systems to support ISO 9001:2015 accreditation, implementing and maintaining corporate standards, driving continuous improvements in the company's culture and approach to quality management. In addition, you will develop and implement new methods, techniques and practices to enhance quality performance and support the achievement of business objectives.
You will prepare quality information to satisfy both annual and ad hoc reporting requirements, ensure quarterly inductions are organised and delivered, organising and participating in stakeholder initiatives such as contractor forums. You will also chair team meetings as required to promote effective communication, collaboration and delivery across the team.
What you’ll bring

A Lead Quality Auditing qualification would be advantageous.
You will possess an in-depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and demonstrate strong influencing, consulting and communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are essential, alongside sound planning and analytical skills that enable you to anticipate challenges and develop effective solutions. To be successful in the role, you will as a minimum, demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, supported by experience in a relevant field and role, preferably within Construction or Utility projects. You will have an in-depth knowledge of current and developing environmental legislation and ISO 9001 requirements, together with a current valid driving licence.
