Successfully coordinate and manage the design process from concept to detailed design by liaising with all relevant internal and external stakeholders regarding design related matters (including but not limited to structural, civil, electrical, EME, TX and SAED). Ensure that any technical difficulties are articulated and resolved promptly including effectively conducting site inspections to ensure the design meets project objectives.
The primary objective of a RF Design Engineer is to ensure on time delivery of site’s RF Designs
- Ensure on time delivery of RF designs in relation as per forecast
- Updating tracking reports for internal use ensuring accuracy at all times and updating required milestones in Sitetracker
- Developing the preliminary and final RF designs for sites, based on Customer provided guidelines for given project.
- Producing detailed plumbing diagrams in phase2, as per each projects process.
- Use of customer databases and operational tools
- Updating the relevant customer databases in accordance with RF Designs (MNIS/ Atoll etc)
- Review FC drawings, DSLs and RLMs from RF perspective and work closely with Structural design team to align them as per customer standards and guidelines.
- Escalating issues that may impact program delivery and forecast to the National RF/ EME Manager and relevant Project Manager
- Train new staff and relevant subcontractors
- Having better understanding of customer guidelines for all projects and can provide assistance in different projects when required.
- Having understanding of RF performance and EME basics to support the teams when required.
- Perform Site surveys when required.
