This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer based in the United States.
This is a senior technical opportunity to design, develop, and optimize Salesforce solutions supporting a mission-driven organization with complex operational needs.
You will own custom applications, integrations, workflows, and platform enhancements while helping ensure the Salesforce environment remains scalable, secure, and efficient.
The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, including mentoring developers and promoting strong architecture and coding practices.
You will work closely with business analysts and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
A key focus will be integrating Salesforce with external systems and leveraging capabilities such as Education Cloud, Lightning Web Components, and OmniStudio.
You will also contribute to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and ongoing platform improvements.

Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce applications, integrations, workflows, and solutions, with a focus on Education Cloud capabilities.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other developers through guidance, code reviews, architecture standards, and development best practices.
Customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, and other platform components to meet business requirements.
Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and OmniStudio components.
Build and maintain REST and SOAP API integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
Develop unit tests, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain high-quality, reliable deliverables.
Collaborate with business analysts and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Maintain clear documentation for Salesforce configurations, customizations, integrations, and technical processes.
Monitor Salesforce releases and evolving best practices to improve platform performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues while minimizing disruption to business operations.
Provision and manage Salesforce sandboxes, source control, GitHub workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and deployments.
Support data integrity, complex security models, and overall reliability of the Salesforce environment.
7+ years of experience in Salesforce development, customization, and platform implementation.
Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, security models, and platform best practices.
Experience working with Salesforce REST and SOAP APIs and integrating Salesforce with external applications.
Strong knowledge of SOQL and SOSL.
Experience with Salesforce Flows, triggers, and automation capabilities.
Experience with Experience Cloud.
Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work effectively in Agile environments while managing multiple priorities and complex technical initiatives.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience managing complex Salesforce security models and maintaining data integrity.
Experience with GitHub, sandbox management, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred certifications include Salesforce Platform Developer II, Salesforce Administrator, and Salesforce Integration Architecture Designer.
Preferred experience with Salesforce Education Cloud, OmniStudio, MuleSoft or similar integration tools, and Azure DevOps.

Applicants must provide a publicly accessible Trailhead profile showing their Salesforce certifications; applications without a qualifying public Trailhead profile will not be considered.
Starting salary of $110,000+ per year.
