We are part of the Calix AXOS team, focusing on the development of robust and scalable edge network devices for access networks.
The team works on core networking and system software, building production-grade solutions that run in real operator environments.
Our goal is to deliver reliable, high-quality software for access network and edge devices, turning complex system requirements into stable, maintainable products.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain software for Access Network Systems and Edge Devices
Participate in the design, implementation, and delivery of network device software
Analyze, debug, and resolve issues in real network and device environments
Work on system-level features such as configuration, management, diagnostics, and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-grade solutions with high quality standards
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor or master’s degree of Telecom/Computer Science or majors related.
5 ~ 8 years’ experience in real-time Embedded Operating Systems.
Solid programming skills in at least one mainstream language (e.g., C, C++, Python)
Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on ability; able to dive into systems and drive issues to real-world resolution
Rich experience on Linux OS
Good understanding of access network fundamentals, including Layer 2, Layer 2.5, and basic PON concepts such as: ERPS, RSTP, G.8032, IGMP, DHCP, DHCPv6, PPPOE, LACP etc.
Preferred Qualifications
Project experience with PON products.
Strong hands-on experience in AI and machine learning
