Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
Lattice is the software platform behind Anduril's autonomous systems. The Data Distribution team owns how data moves through it: the Distributed Service Bus (DSB), a messaging layer that carries every track, sensor reading, command, and video stream between nodes.
DSB runs on robots deployed at the edge, over networks that are slow, lossy, and sometimes gone entirely: tactical radios, satellite links, and wired networks, often all at once. Nodes join, leave, and get partitioned all the time. That makes this a distributed systems problem in the textbook sense, with consistency, delivery guarantees, and failure handling all in play, but with real bandwidth limits and real consequences when it doesn't work.
The team is small and the system is in active development. It's a good time to join if you want a large surface area and real ownership.
