🌳 **About the Role**
Thera is building the de facto platform for remote startups to manage their workforce. We’re looking for a full-stack engineer to join our growing team.
We're fresh off a seed round and backed by some of the world's leading investors: Y Combinator, Oliver Jung, Bayhouse Capital, 10x Founders, Amino Capital, Zillionize, House Capital, and many notable angels.
🏆 **What You’ll Achieve**
* Lead full-stack development
* Combine in house and 3rd party API provider functionality to build holistic HR platform
* Define our engineering culture and best practices from the ground up
* Collaborate closely with our CTO and CEO and directly impact product roadmap

You are a strong engineer who moves fast while keeping scalability in mind. You will thrive in our culture if you:
* Have a strong bias towards action and prioritize execution above else
* Easily handle the unstructured environment of fast-moving startups
* Have the hunger to grow together with Thera as we scale up
📈 **Requirements**
* Fast-learner: you are proactive and able to pick up new things quickly
* Builder: you have experience working with Typescript, Kotlin, React.js, NextJS, Spring Boot or similar frameworks
* Product minded: you genuinely want to build something people want, you enjoy talking to users and learning their needs
🚀 **Bonus Points**
* 3+ years of software engineering experience
* Previous experience in payroll / HR tech
* Previous experience building and deploying on AWS
* Previous experience at high-growth, fast-paced startups
