Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join one of our EMEA pre-sales teams, reporting to the Director of Solution Engineering. You’ll be aligned to our Longview Tax solution, handling product demonstrations, pre-sales support and partner enablement. You should be a direct tax subject matter expert, confident facing off to clients and come from either a pre-sales, consulting or industry background. Using your specialist direct tax knowledge, you’ll bridge the gap between our sales and post-sales teams, providing expert guidance to prospects on how our products can address their specific business challenges.  

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Develop a deep understanding of our tax solution, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages. 

• Collaborate with the sales team to identify client needs and tailor presentations that demonstrate how our solutions can meet those requirements. 

• Conduct compelling product demonstrations, highlighting the value and capabilities of our offerings to both technical and non-technical audiences. 

• Collaborate with prospects to design tailored solutions aligned with their business requirements.  

• Own the delivery of configured POCs and demos that translate requirements into compelling proof points, accelerating deal closure and establishing customer confidence. 

• Assist in crafting detailed proposals and responses to RFPs, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with prospect needs. 

• Gather insights from prospect interactions to inform product development and enhance our solutions. 

• Participate in webinars as tax subject matter expert, providing demos for webinar topics, and recording general videos for use by marketing and sales teams. 

Qualifications 

• Experience in client-facing tax roles, from either a pre-sales, industry/public accounting or consulting background. 

• Experience presenting to mixed teams, varying from staff level accountants to the Vice President of Tax or Finance. 

• Experience mapping customer requirements to software solutions. 

• Ability to think quickly, to respond to customer questions and convey complex technical concepts. 

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in tax platforms and a solid understanding of tax provision, transfer pricing, and BEPS reporting requirements. 

• Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing client challenges. 

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Tax, or equivalent. Computer science or other technical qualifications are also beneficial but not essential. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. 

• Fluency in English. 

• Ability to travel to client site up to 10% of your time 

 

 

 

The salary range in United Kingdom for this position is 97,000.00 to 122,000.00 GBP Annual.

For sales roles, this range includes the commission target. For non-sales roles, this is a base salary only range; additional bonus eligibility may apply.
