JD: SAP BTP Integration / Integration Platform position
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain integration solutions using SAP BTP services such as SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration/CPI, API Management), Event Mesh, as well as other enterprise iPaaS platforms where applicable.
- Collaborate with business analysts and solution architects to understand integration requirements and translate them into scalable, reusable technical solutions.
- Configure, deploy, and monitor integration flows across multiple platforms, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
- Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution for integration-related incidents, working closely with cross-functional technical teams.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, mapping documents, and operational procedures.
- Participate in testing activities including unit testing, system integration testing, and support for UAT.
- Support enterprise integration initiatives across hybrid landscapes (cloud and on-premise), including APIs, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
- Contribute to the design and governance of integration standards, best practices, and reusable frameworks across platforms.
- Stay current with advancements in SAP BTP and other iPaaS technologies, proactively recommending improvements and innovations.
- Ensure compliance with organizational development standards, security policies, and architectural guidelines.
- Mentor junior team members (for Senior Specialist role) and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in integration, with strong exposure to SAP BTP Integration Suite and/or other iPaaS platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure Integration Services, etc.).
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing complex integration scenarios across heterogeneous systems.
- Hands-on experience with various adapters/protocols (SOAP, REST, SFTP, JDBC, OData, messaging/event-based integration, etc.).
- Strong understanding of API design, integration patterns, security concepts, and authentication mechanisms.
- Exposure to event-driven architecture and messaging platforms (e.g., SAP Event Mesh, Kafka, etc.) is an advantage.
- Experience with additional SAP BTP services (e.g., Workflow Management, Business Application Studio) is a plus.
- Proficiency in scripting/programming (e.g., Groovy, Java, JavaScript).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications (SAP BTP, or any other iPaaS platform) are highly desirable.
