We are looking for a Senior Systems Analyst to analyze design and support mainframe systems while troubleshooting performance issues and supporting enterprise applications across multiple agencies. This position will be a full-time contract and hybrid role in Trenton, NJ.
What You’ll Do
Evaluate existing systems and analyze new user requirements
Design recommend and implement system changes
Troubleshoot mainframe environments including CICS MQ and production batch jobs
Monitor and resolve mainframe performance issues
Document existing environments and support knowledge transfer efforts
Provide training to stakeholders and technical teams
Support ongoing agency projects within the mainframe environment
Provide guidance on application troubleshooting and problem resolution
Deliver customer support as directed
Support batch processing and online applications across multiple agencies
What You’ll Need
Required:
Experience working as a systems analyst in enterprise environments
Strong experience with mainframe technologies including CICS MQ and batch processing
Experience troubleshooting and resolving application and system issues
Ability to analyze and document systems and technical environments
Strong communication skills and ability to provide knowledge transfer and training
Experience supporting multiple applications and stakeholders
Preferred:
Experience supporting large scale government environments
Experience working with multiple agencies and enterprise level systems
Experience providing customer support within IT environments
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse keyboard and monitor

$114 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will include 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
