The Role
Our Docklands office is the hub for our corporate functions within the Bega Group. You’ll enjoy lots of natural light and great facilities to take advantage of including a fully stocked fridge loaded with a range of Bega products! We are right next door to Marvel stadium and some of Melbourne’s best restaurants, cafes and bars.
As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for managing direct and indirect tax compliance, preparing tax forecasts, maintaining accurate tax records, and providing expert tax advice across the business. Working in a fast-paced FMCG environment, you will support both local and international tax matters, with exposure to overseas tax issues highly regarded.
This is a hands-on, highly analytical role requiring the ability to interpret complex tax and financial data, identify risks and opportunities, and provide practical recommendations to stakeholders. As part of a small team, you will work autonomously, take ownership of your responsibilities, and contribute to the continuous improvement of tax processes and controls.
This opportunity is suited to an experienced tax professional with strong technical expertise and the confidence to manage complex tax matters independently. It is not an entry-level role and requires demonstrated experience across tax compliance, reporting and advisory activities.
This is a permanent full-time position based in Docklands, VIC.
The team currently operates on a hybrid working model, with office attendance required on Mondays and Tuesdays. From 2027, this will increase to three office days per week (Monday, Tuesday and Friday), with two days working from home. Applicants must be comfortable working within these arrangements.
