WHY VEIR?
Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Woburn, Massachusetts, VEIR is a U.S.-based designer and manufacturer of category-defining superconducting power delivery systems built for the extreme energy demands of the AI era. By commercializing next-generation superconducting technology into deployable, real-world systems, VEIR delivers ~10× higher power density than conventional options, enabling “speed-to-power” where incremental optimization falls short. VEIR’s initial focus is AI data centers behind the meter, with solutions engineered for repeatable deployment through reference designs and integrated controls, designed to incorporate learnings as deployments scale.
As Hardware Product Manager – Cryogenic Systems & Controls at VEIR, you will own the product strategy, development, and lifecycle for VEIR’s cryogenic systems and associated control architectures, from early concept through commercialization. This role is deeply focused on complex, tightly integrated hardware–software systems, spanning cryogenic cooling hardware, sensors, controls, instrumentation, and system-level performance.
You will act as the single-threaded owner for this product area, translating system-level requirements, including thermal performance, reliability, operability, and safety, into clear technical specifications and prioritized product roadmaps. You’ll work closely with cryogenics, mechanical, electrical, controls, software, manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams to ensure systems are designed for performance, scalability, and real-world deployment.
This is an ideal role for a product manager who wants to operate close to the physics, embedded with engineering teams, and accountable for delivering first-of-their-kind cryogenic systems that underpin VEIR’s core technology.
