This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager based in United States.
As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will lead complex, high-impact software initiatives within an AI-powered automotive lending environment. You’ll turn ambiguous, multi-stakeholder challenges into clear execution plans, align teams around priorities, and drive programs from technical planning through launch and rollout. The role sits at the intersection of Product and Engineering, requiring strong technical judgment alongside exceptional cross-functional leadership. You’ll coordinate with teams spanning Analytics, Machine Learning, Servicing, Fraud, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and external-facing functions. Success will depend on your ability to manage dependencies, surface risks early, resolve blockers, and create practical operating systems that improve delivery. This is a remote, digital-first opportunity where your work will directly influence software quality, execution speed, and customer outcomes.
Accountabilities:
- Lead complex, cross-functional software initiatives from initial alignment through delivery, launch, and rollout.
- Coordinate execution across Product, Engineering, Servicing, Analytics, Machine Learning, Fraud, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and dealer-facing teams.
- Translate ambiguous, multi-stakeholder problem spaces into actionable plans with clear milestones, dependencies, risks, decision points, and ownership.
- Partner with Product Managers on strategy and prioritization while working closely with Engineering Managers and engineers on technical approaches and execution plans.
- Participate meaningfully in technical discussions, evaluating software architecture, data models, data movement, data pipelines, third-party integrations, and implementation trade-offs.
- Identify blockers and unclear ownership, surface downstream impacts early, and help teams resolve issues before they become delivery risks.
- Establish lightweight, practical program-management processes that improve coordination, visibility, and accountability without creating unnecessary administrative overhead.
- Drive PM-prioritized initiatives from technical planning through launch and rollout.
- Monitor post-launch performance, establish continuous feedback loops, and identify opportunities for iteration and improvement.
- Surface operational signals and customer pain points, analyze opportunities, and develop clear, prioritized recommendations.
- Connect program execution to measurable business and customer outcomes while maintaining appropriate quality, reliability, and delivery standards.
Requirements:
- Professional experience in Technical Program Management or a similar role, with ownership of complex, cross-functional software initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous, multi-stakeholder problems into executable plans with milestones, dependencies, risks, decision points, and clear ownership.
- Experience working directly with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and engineering teams, with a strong understanding of their respective roles and responsibilities.
- Technical fluency across software architecture, data models, third-party integrations, and data pipelines.
- Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs and communicate their implications clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience delivering initiatives across Product and Engineering while connecting execution to measurable business or customer outcomes.
- Strong cross-functional leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to establish practical program-management processes in environments where ownership and operating practices are still evolving.
- Experience working in a complex industry, multi-sided marketplace, or B2B2C environment with competing priorities around speed, quality, reliability, and scale is preferred.
- Experience partnering with financial services, automotive retail, servicing, fraud, analytics, machine learning, or other operationally complex teams is a plus.
- Experience in a growth-stage technology company or similarly fast-moving environment is advantageous.
Benefits:
- $162,100–$224,500 USD anticipated base salary range for U.S. remote positions, with actual compensation based on location, skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
- Target bonus opportunities and annual equity grants with quarterly vesting.
- 401(k) or Group Retirement Savings Plan with a company match of $2 for every $1 contributed, up to $15,000 annually in the U.S.
- Employee Stock Purchase Plan with discounted stock purchase options for eligible U.S. employees.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- Health Savings Account contributions for eligible U.S. plans.
- Life insurance and disability coverage.
- Paid time off, sick leave, and company holidays.
- Paid family and parental leave.
- Family-centered benefits supporting fertility, parenthood, and caregiving.
- Employee Assistance Program with mental health and life-support resources.
- Financial wellness resources, including financial planning tools and concierge services for U.S. employees.
- Annual wellness allowance supporting physical and emotional well-being and personal development.
- Annual productivity allowance for tools and resources that support effective remote work.
- Team events, company-wide updates, and employee resource groups.
- Remote, digital-first work environment with regular team onsites, typically once or twice per quarter for 2–4 consecutive days depending on the team and role.
- Opportunity to work on meaningful technology initiatives at the intersection of AI, financial services, and automotive lending.
