The Test Lead is a key member of our Back Office Applications Development team and serves as the quality lead for our in-house Back Office system, the Merchant Management System (MMS). The system runs on a stable IBM i platform and is central to payment card transaction processing, clearing, ATM operations, and merchant settlement. The Test Lead is responsible for coordinating testing activities, defining the testing approach, and ensuring the overall quality of changes delivered across this critical system.
The role requires a highly analytical professional with an IT background and a solid understanding of the payments industry, particularly the payment card domain and transaction processing. Equally important are a strong willingness to learn, the ability to analyze complex issues, the capability to support and improve the system, and the readiness to lead testing efforts, set priorities, and drive quality standards within the team.
The Test Lead must be able to oversee testing of system changes in depth, coordinate communication with relevant stakeholders, guide the preparation of test cases, and support the development team in delivering high-quality solutions. The role also includes organizing and supervising testing activities, mentoring testers, and collaborating on testing initiatives with internal and external partners worldwide.
