Senior UX Designer (Fixed-term)

Clarivate is seeking a talented Senior UX Designer (Fixed-term) to join our dynamic team in the Belgrade Office. It is an exciting time to be part of a local design community within a bigger globally distributed team, working on IP products and infusing change in the organization! The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering exceptional digital experiences for our users across multiple IP Management Systems. This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver successful products.
 

About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments

• Minimum 5 years of experience in user experience design, supported by a portfolio and/or case studies demonstrating user-centered design solutions for complex, cross-platform projects and SaaS applications, including a minimum of 3 years of experience utilizing the Figma tool.
• At least one year of professional working experience in usability testing.
• Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in English.
   

It would be great if you also have . . .

• Experience with Maze or similar usability testing and user research tools.
• Experience working in Agile product development environments.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Extensive experience collaborating with Front-End Engineers to translate designs into high-quality user experiences.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience using analytics and user behavior data to inform design decisions.
   

What will you be doing in this role?

• Design intuitive and engaging user experiences across web-based products, from early concepts to polished user interfaces.
• Create wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate and validate product ideas.
• Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and translate business goals into user-centered solutions.
• Plan and conduct usability testing and user research activities, leveraging insights to refine and improve designs.
• Collaborate extensively with Front-End Engineers to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and accurately implemented.
• Contribute to and evolve design systems, patterns, and best practices to ensure consistency across products.
• Present design concepts, research findings, and recommendations to stakeholders, clearly articulating design decisions and rationale.
   

Product you will be developing

IP Collaboration Hub is a global web-based platform that helps organizations manage intellectual property workflows and collaborate seamlessly with clients, law firms, and external agents. The product combines communication, process management, and IP lifecycle capabilities into a single user experience.

About the Team 

You'll be part of an international team of UX experts dedicated to creating user-centered experiences across Clarivate's Intellectual Property portfolio. Based in Belgrade alongside four local colleagues, you'll collaborate with global product, engineering, and design teams and report directly to the Team Lead, User Experience.

Hours of Work  

This is a fixed-term maternity cover position, with core engagement hours within the CET time zone.

This is a hybrid position, you will be expected to work from our Belgrade office 3 days every other week.
